Analysis: The Saiints draft is a weird one, they traded a 2019 1st-round pick, to get to 14th overall, but they didn’t take who everyone thought they would, Lamar Jackson, but instead Marcus Davenport, who is a solid player, but is he worth giving up a 2019 1st for him? They added TreQuan Smith to their WR corps, while adding Tackle Rick Leonard, as a potential swing Tackle. They also added 2 solid DBs, CB Kamrin Moore, and S Natrell Jamerson. Plus they added the ultra versatile William Clapp, who can play G or C. So all in all, I like what the Saints did, but that 2019 1st is a huge price to pay for an edge rusher.
