Overview:

Thompson had a very productive career at Colorado, where he played in 43 games, he had 235 tackles, 8.5 for loss, 10 interceptions, and 36 pass breakups, proving to be a ball hawk, and a shut down defensive back. He has good size, he has great speed, is very experienced, is a sure fire tackler, and is good in coverage. He is a good blitzing safety, he can play in the slot, in addition to playing safety, he is a defensive play maker, a tough nosed player, and a hard hitting defensive back. He did have injury issues at Colorado with concussions. With that said, I see Thompson being a early day 3 pick when it is all said and done.
