Perine was very productive at Oklahoma, playing in 36 career games, where he had 685 carries, for 4122 rushing yards, 49 rushing touchdowns, along with 40 catches, for 321 receiving yards, and 2 receiving touchdowns. He is a tough runner, has good vision, has great speed, is explosive off the line of scrimmage, and has good instincts. He is a big back from the weight standpoint, he makes defenders miss, breaks tackles with ease, and a good blocking back. He is undersized from a height standpoint, he did not play in a pro style offense, he does get stuffed at times, and while he is a good pass catcher, he was not used a pass catching back. With that said, I view Perine as a day 3 pick, likely somewhere in the 4th to 5th round range when it is all said and done.
