Overview:

Thompson has a nice quick burst off the line of scrimmage, which allows him to get to the quarterback. He is a good pass rusher, as he put up solid sack numbers at Syracuse. He is a solid tackler, and gets through the offensive line with ease. He also has a good spin move to get by and beat the tackle. On the other hand, he is too small to play defensive end in the NFL, and he does commit some silly penalties. With that said, I expect Thompson to be a day 3 pick, somewhere in the 4th round.
