Overview:

Brown was highly productive at Mississippi State, where he played in 52 career games, had 299 tackles, 21.0 for loss, and 10.0 sacks, proving to be a tackling machine. He has good size, is very experienced, is a sure fire tackler, is a hard hitter, and a tough nosed player. He also had good instincts, is good in coverage, he had a good amount of interceptions, he did a good job of breaking up passes while in coverage, and put up good sack numbers. He does not have elite speed, but that does not hurt his game. With that said, I view Brown as a day 3 pick, somewhere in the 5th-6th round range, where he would be a key special teams player for whoever selects him.
