Overview:

Nelson finished his career at Wisconsin, where he played in 37 career games, had 122 tackles, 3.5 for loss, 41 pass breakups, and 2 forced fumbles. He has great speed, he is a hard hitter, a tackling machine, and a solid cover cornerback. He is also a shut down cornerback, a defensive play maker, and a difference maker on defense. He is very physical, and does not back down. He was also a dynamic return man. On the other hand, he has no interceptions in his career, he tends to commit too many defensive pass interference penalties, and he is not the tallest cornerback, but that does not hurt his game. With that said, I see Nelson being a late day 2- early day 3 pick when it is all said and done.
