Overview:

Evans had a very productive career at Oklahoma, playing in 45 career games, where he had 286 tackles, 22.0 for loss, 3.0 sacks, 5 interceptions, and 16 pass breakups, proving to be a force on defense for the Sooners. He has good size, he has good speed, he is also very experienced, and he is a sure fire tackler. He also is good in coverage, he is a hard hitting linebacker, and he always wraps up on tackles attempts. He is also a good pass rusher, and he gets good pressure on the quarterback. And as mentioned above, he did a good job getting interceptions, and breaking up passes. On the other hand, he is not known for getting many sacks, and while he has good speed, he does not have elite linebacker speed, but that does not hurt his game at all. With that said, I view Evans as a day 3 pick, likely somewhere between the 5th-6th round range when it is all said and done.
