Overview:

Akins finished his career at Central Florida, where he played in 40 career games, had 81 receptions, for 1149 receiving yards, and 8 receiving touchdowns. He has good size, is a solid pass catcher, and has good hands. He is a good route runner, and he was an offensive play maker for UCF. He is also a good run blocker, as he opens holes up for his backs. On the other hand, he does not have elite tight end speed, but that does not hurt his game. But with all of that said, I see Akins as a day 3 pick when it is all said and done.
