Overview:

Jones had a highly productive career at Jackson State, where he appeared in 37 career games, he had a whopping 351 tackles, 77.0 for loss, 18.5 sacks, and 4 forced fumbles, proving to be a monster on defense for the Tigers. He has good size, he also has very good speed, he is a tackling machine, and a sure fire tackler. He also always wraps up on tackles attempts, he gets good pressure on the quarterback, he is a good pass rusher, and he wreaks havoc on defense. He also is a hard hitter, a run stuffer, and a tough nosed player. He plows his way through the offensive line in pursuit of the quarterback, he also uses his speed to get around the offensive tackle, he is a play maker on defense, and is very relentless when going after the ball carrier. He is also versatile, as he played both defensive end, and linebacker at Jackson State. The only thing I see, is that he is a bit too light to be a full time defensive end in the NFL. With that said, I view Jones as a day 3 pick, likely in the 4th-5th range. Whoever gets Jones will also get a player who gives it his all on every play, he does not take any plays off, and he is just a force to be reckoned with.
