Overview:

Smith finished his career at Southern Miss by playing in 51 career games, where he had 820 carries, for 4358 rushing yards, and 42 rushing touchdowns. He was also a prolific receiver, as he has 140 catches, for 1446 receiving yards, and 7 receiving touchdowns. He has great speed, he has good vision, is a tough runner, and was a workhorse back for Southern Miss. He is also a good blocking back, has good instincts, and was a scoring machine. He makes defenders miss with ease, breaks tackles with ease, and is hard to take down. He is also a good pass catching back, he has good hands as a receiver, and has a nice explosive burst off the line of scrimmage. On the other hand he is a bit of an undersized back, and he does get stuffed at times. With that said, I view Smith being a late day 2, to early day 3 pick.
