Overview:

Nickerson was highly productive between Cal, and Illinois, where he posted 351 career tackles, 14.5 for loss, and 4.0 sacks. He has great size, is a hard hitter, a good run stuffing linebacker, and is good in coverage. He is also a hard hitter, gets good pressure on the quarterback, despite the lack of sacks, and has good speed. On the other side, he is not known as a sack specialist, and while he has good speed, it is not elite linebacker speed, but that does not hurt his game. With that said, Nickerson should be a day 3 pick.
