Overview:

Sickels had a very nice career at Penn State, appearing in 39 career games, where he had 94 tackles, 21.5 for loss, and 11.5 sacks. He has good edge rush size, he is very experienced, he gets good pressure on the quarterback, and is a good pass rusher. He also has good speed, is a dynamic play maker, a defensive play maker, and a sack machine. While he has good speed, he does not have elite edge rush speed, but that does not hurt his game, and he a bit too light to be a full time defensive end in the NFL. With that said, I view Sickels as a late day 3 pick.
