Overview:
Pumphrey was highly productive at San Diego State, where he had 1059 carries, for 6405 rushing yards, 62 rushing touchdowns, along with 99 catches, for 1039 receiving yards, And 5 receiving touchdowns. He has great speed, good vision, is ver elusive, is very experienced, and is a good pass catching back. He is also an explosive play maker, he is tough to take down, and does a good job making defenders miss. One more thing that could work in his benefit, is, that he did a good job as return man during the Senior Bowl game, which will add extra value and versatility to whatever team selects him. The only issue is the size frame, as he is small. Now with that said, I expect Pumphrey to end up being either a late day 2 pick, or an early day 3 pick, especially after having such an impressive Senior Bowl week.
