Fields was highly productive over his career between Louisville and TCU, putting up 165 tackles, 51.5 for loss, and 26.5 sacks. He is a dynamic pass rusher, a sure fire tackler, gets through the offensive line with ease, and gets good pressure on the QB. He has good height for an edge rusher, and is just a dynamic play maker on defense. He did have issues earlier on in his career which saw him transfer from TCU to Louisville, and he is a bit light, which causes him to get manhandled by bigger offensive lineman at times. Fields could see his stock rise with good workouts, a good combine, and good interviews. With that said, I expect Fields to be a late day 2 pick, to an early day 3 pick, going somewhere between the 3rd round, and the 4th round.
