Overview:

Shelton finished his career at Southwest Minnesota State, where he played in 22 career games, with 32 receptions, for 281 receiving yards, and 4 receiving touchdowns. He has good size, he has good speed, and is a solid pass catcher. He is also a good route runner, a tough nosed player, and has good instincts. He breaks tackles, makes defenders miss, and is tough to bring down. He is a good redzone threat, a good deep threat, and catches everything thrown his way. He is a solid blocker on special teams, he is a good run blocker, and he opens holes up for his backs. He also consistently beats his defender. On the other hand, he did not play during the 2017 season, while he has good speed, he does not have elite speed, but that does not hurt his game, and i am not sure what position he fits best at the next level, as he plays tight end, but is built like a wide receiver. With that said, I view Shelton as a potential day 3 pick.
