English had a very productive career at South Carolina, where he played in 51 career games, had 134 tackles, 24.0 for loss, and 15.0 sacks, proving to be a sack machine. He has good size for an edge rusher, he also has good speed, is very experienced, is a sure fire tackler, and a defensive play maker. He is also a very good pass rusher, he gets good pressure on the quarterback, is a tough nosed player, and is a hard hitter. On the other side, he is a bit undersized to play defensive end in the NFL, so I see him making the switch to being a 3-4 outside linebacker, he does have some issues with bigger offensive lineman at times, but that does not hurt his game, and he had a hip injury while at South Carolina. With that said, I view English as a day 3 pick, likely somewhere in the 4th or 5th round area, and being a key rotational player in a teams 3-4 defense.
