Overview:

McDermott has amazing size, is a good run blocker, holds up well in pass protection, and is a mauler. He also has good footwork, he gives his quarterbackĂŠplenty of time, and he does not get pushed around at the line of scrimmage that easily. He does not have great speed, he is also not as athletic as the other top tackles, and he also looks stiff at times due to his size frame. With that said, I view McDermott as a day 3 pick, likely in the later rounds.
