Overview:

Penton had a very productive career at Missouri, where he played in 51 games, had 154 tackles, 8.0 for loss, 10 interceptions, and an impressive 41 pass breakups, proving to be a shut down cornerback, and a ball hawk. He has good speed, is solid in coverage, a hard hitter, and a defensive play maker. On the other hand, he is very undersized, and he tends to get run over by big receivers, and tight ends, while in coverage. With that said, I see Penton as a day 3 pick, somewhere in the mid round area.
