Jason’s Official 2018 NFL Draft Scouting Report: Western Kentucky QB Mike White

Mike White, QB, Western Kentucky

Scouting Report:

White finished his career at Western Kentucky, where he played in 44 career games, had 863 completions, for 11262 passing yards, 74 passing touchdowns, 31 interceptions, and a completion percentage of 62.0. He has great size, he has good accuracy, along with good arm strength, and a good deep ball. He puts the ball where his receiver can get it, he is a tough nosed player, and has good instincts. He is also a good passer while rolling out of the pocket, he has good pocket awareness, and is a good pocket passer. He also had good patience in the pocket, and he distributes the ball to all of his receivers and backs. On the other hand, he takes way too many sacks, he is not a very mobile quarterback and he does not have the best speed, but that does not hurt his overall game. With that said, I view White as a day 3 pick when it is all said and done.
