Jason’s Official 2018 NFL Draft Scouting Report: Virginia S Quin Blanding

Quin Blanding, S, Virginia

Scouting Report:

Blanding finished his career at Virginia, where he played in 49 career games, had 495 tackles, 9.0 for loss, 10 interceptions, 17 pass breakups, 1 forced fumble, and 2 fumbles recovered. He has good size, he has good speed, is a tackling machine, and is a ball hawk. He is versatile, as he lines up at safety, and in the slot. He is a hard hitter, and he is good in coverage. He is also a defensive play maker, and a difference maker on defense. He is also a relentless defender. On the other hand, he does get beat by fast backs, and receivers at times. With that said, I see Blanding being a day 2 pick when it is all said and done.
