Jason’s Official 2018 NFL Draft Scouting Report: Utah WR Darren Carrington

Darren Carrington, WR, Utah

Scouting Report:

Carrington finished his career at Utah, after playing at Oregon, where he played in 46 career games, had 182 receptions, for 2899 receiving yards, and 21 receiving touchdowns. He has great size, he has great speed, he is a solid pass catcher, and is sure handed. He was a scoring machine, he is a good route runner, a good blocking receiver, and he makes spectacular catches look easy. He makes defenders miss with ease, he breaks tackles with ease, and is tough to bring down. He is also a nice big threat, and a great deep threat. On the other hand, he does not have an explosive burst off the line of scrimmage, and he was dismissed from Oregon after a DUI. With that said, I see Carrington being a day 3 pick when it is all said and done.
