Jason’s Official 2018 NFL Draft Scouting Report: Utah DT Lowell Lotulelei

Lowell Lotulelei, DT, Utah

Scouting Report:

Lotulelei finished his career at Utah, where he played in 51 career games, had 103 tackles, 21.5 for loss, and 10.0 sacks. He also had 2 pass breakups, and 2 forced fumbles. He has great size, is a tackling machine, a run stuffer, and a hard hitter. He gets good pressure on the quarterback, and is a good pass rusher. He creates havoc on defense, is a defensive play maker, and he bull rushes his way through the offensive line with ease. On the other hand, he does not have great speed, but that does not hurt his game, and he is not known as a sack specialist. With that said, I see Lotulelei being a day 2 pick when it is all said and done.
