Jason’s Official 2018 NFL Draft Scouting Report: USC DT Rasheem Green

Rasheem Green, DT, USC

Scouting Report:

Green finished his career at USC, where he played in 41 career games, had 117 tackles, 20.0 for loss, and 16.5 sacks. He also had 8 pass breakups, 3 forced fumbles, and 1 fumble recovered. He has great size, he has good speed, is a tackling machine, and is versatile, as he can line up at defensive tackle, and defensive end. He is a defensive play maker, and a difference maker on defense. He also gets good pressure on the quarterback, and is a good pass rusher. He is also a very relentless defender, and a ferocious defender. He is also a hard hitter, a run stuffer, and he uses his speed and power to get around and through the offensive line in pursuit of the ball carrier. On the other hand, he has issues with speedy backs at times, but that does not hurt his game. With that said, I see Green being a late day 2, to early day 3 pick.
