Jason’s Official 2018 NFL Draft Scouting Report: UCONN DT Folorunso Fatukasi

Folorunso Fatukasi, DT, UCONN

Scouting Report:

Fatukasi finished his career at UCONN, where he played in 48 career games, had 169 tackles, 19.0 for loss, 14.0 sacks, and 4 forced fumbles. He has great size, was a tackling machine, and is a very powerful defensive lineman. He is a defensive play maker, and a difference maker on defense. He is also a relentless defender, and a ferocious defender. He commands double teams, is a run stuffer, a tough nosed player, and has good instincts. He gets good pressure on the quarterback, and is a good pass rusher. He also gets a good push on offensive line, and he uses his power to get through the offensive line. On the other hand, he has issues with fast backs, and quarterbacks at times, and he does not have the best speed, but that does not hurt his game. With that said, I view Fatukasi as a day 3 pick when it is all said and done.
