DeShon Elliott, S, Texas
Elliott finished his career at Texas, where he played in 31 career games, had 106 tackles, 11.5 for loss, 9 interceptions, 14 pass breakups, 4 forced fumbles, and 3 fumbles recovered. He has good size, he has good speed, is a tackling machine, and a ball hawk. He is a relentless defender, and a ferocious defender. He has good instincts, is a defensive play maker, and a difference maker on defense. He is a hard hitter, a solid cover defensive back, very physical, and does not back down. On the other hand, he missed the early part of 2015 due to an injury, and while he has good speed, he does not have elite defensive back speed, but that does not hurt his game. With that said, i see Elliott being a early day 2 pick when it is all said and done.
