Jarrett Johnson, DE, Texas A&M
Johnson finished his career at Texas A&M, where he played in 46 career games, had 63 tackles, 15.5 for loss, 9.0 sacks, 1 pass breakup, and 2 forced fumbles. He has good edge rush size, he has good speed, is a tough nosed player, and has good instincts. He gets good pressure on the quarterback, and is a good pass rusher. He is also a hard hitter, a run stuffer, a relentless defender, and a ferocious defender. He is also a defensive play maker, a difference maker on defense, and he uses his speed and power to get through the offensive line in pursuit of the ball carrier. On the other hand, he has issues with fast running backs at times. With that said, I view Johnson as a late round pick.
