Jason’s Official 2018 NFL Draft Scouting Report: TCU OT Joseph Noteboom

Joseph Noteboom, OT, TCU

Scouting Report:

Noteboom, who finished his career at TCU, has great size, is a good pass blocker, a good run blocker, and he opens holes up for his backs. He does a good job of resetting his legs, and stopping defenders, he is very powerful, and he easily pushes around defenders. He has good instincts, and is a tough nosed player. He also gets a good push on the defensive line, and does not get pushed around that easily. He is also very active using his hands, and legs to get leverage, and stop defenders getting around him. He also has good athleticism, and he does a good job of bending his knees, showing his athleticism. On the other hand, he has issues with speedy defenders at times, and he does not have the best speed, but that does not hurt his game. With that said, I view Noteboom as a day 3 pick when it is all said and done.
