Jason’s Official 2018 NFL Draft Scouting Report: Southern Miss WR Korey Robertson

Korey Robertson, WR, Southern Miss

Scouting Report:

Robertson finished his career at Southern Miss, where he played in 40 career games, had 127 receptions, for 1743 receiving yards, and 18 receiving touchdowns. He has good size, he has good speed, he is a solid pass catcher, and is usually sure handed. He isa good blocking receiver, a good route runner, and was a scoring machine. He is an offensive play maker, and a dynamic play maker. He is a good deep threat, and he fights for every yard, and extra yards. He makes defenders miss, he breaks tackles, and is tough to bring down. He is also a tough nosed player, he has good instincts, and he consistently beats his defender. On the other hand, he could be seen as a 1-year wonder, as 12 of his 18 career receiving touchdowns came during the 2017 season, and while he has good speed, he does not have elite receiver speed, but that does not hurt his game. With that said, I see Robertson being a day 3 pick when it is all said and done.
