Jason’s Official 2018 NFL Draft Scouting Report: Penn State WR DaeSean Hamilton

DaeSean Hamilton, WR, Penn State

Scouting Report:

Hamilton finished his career at Penn State, where he played in 53 career games, had 214 receptions, for 2842 receiving yards, and 18 receiving touchdowns. He has good size, he has good speed, he was a go-to receiver for Penn State, is a good pass catcher, and has good hands. He is a good route runner, he catches everything thrown his way, and is sure handed. He is a tough nosed player, a good deep threat, a good redzone a threat, and a good blocking receiver. He was also a scoring machine, and he has good instincts. He makes defenders miss, he breaks tackles, and is tough to take down. On the other hand, he has had injury issues in the past, as he missed his Freshman season due to a wrist injury. With that said, I view Hamilton as a day 3 pick when it is all said and done.
