Saquon Barkley, RB, Penn State
Barkley ended his career at Penn State by playing in 38 career games, where he had 671 rushes, for 3843 rushing yards, 43 rushing touchdowns, along with 102 catches, for 1195 receiving yards, and 8 receiving touchdowns. He has good size, great speed, he was a clear workhorse back for the Nittany Lions, he has good vision, is a tough runner, and does a good job of waiting for holes to open. He is also very versatile, as he can play running back, as well as lineup in the slot as a receiver. He is a very good pass catching back, a good blocking back, he is tough to take down, he breaks tackles with ease, and makes defenders miss with ease. He is a dynamic play maker, a scoring machine, and a good redzone threat. He is also a good route runner when playing receiver in the slot. On the other hand, he does get stuffed at times, but that does not hurt his game. With that said, I view Barkley as the top back in the years class, and should end up being a top 5 pick when it is all said and done this April.
