Jason’s Official 2018 NFL Draft Scouting Report: Oklahoma State QB Mason Rudolph

Mason Rudolph, QB, Oklahoma State

Scouting Report:

Rudolph finshed his career at Oklahoma State, where he played in 42 career games, completing 915 psses, for 13618 yards, with 92 passing touchdowns, and 26 interceptions. He also had 225 rushes, for only 28 yards, but 17 rushing touchdowns, proving to be a good threat when inside the 5 yard line. he has good size, he has the accuracy, he also has good arm strength, along with good instincts, and good speed. He has a nice quick release, he is a good pocket passer, he is good under pressure, and he a good deep ball. He also a mobile quarterback, he does a good job of avoiding sacks, and he threads the needle, and fits the ball into tight spots so nicely. On the other hand, he has had injury issues at OK State with a foot injury, he tends to overthrow some passes, he did not play in a pro style offense, and he was more of a shotgun quarterback, and not an under the center quarterback. With all of that said, i view Rudolph as a early day 2 pick, somewhere within the first 10 picks of the 2nd-round.
