Jason’s Official 2018 NFL Draft Scouting Report: Oklahoma OLB Ogbonnia Okoronkwo

Obonnia Okoronkwo, OLB, Oklahoma

Scouting Report:

Okoronkwo finished his career at Oklahoma, where he played in 46 career games, had 162 tackles, 33.0 for loss, and 20.0 sacks. He also had 5 pass breakups, 5 forced fumbles, and 2 fumbles recovered. He has good edge rush size, is a tackling machine, and is a hard hitter. He is a defensive play maker, he gets good pressure on the quarterback, and is a good pass rusher. He is also a very relentless defender, he creates havoc on defense, has good instincts, and is good in coverage. On the other hand, he does not have the best speed, but that does not hurt his game, and he has issues with faster quarterbacks, and running backs at times. With that all said, I see Okoronkwo being a late 1st-round, to early 2nd-round pick when it is all said and done.
