Jason’s Official 2018 NFL Draft Scouting Report: Ohio State OT Jamarco Jones

Jamarco Jones, OT, Ohio State

Scouting Report:

Jones, who finished his career at Ohio State, has great size, is a good pass blocker, a good run blocker, and opens holes up for his backs. He is also very powerful, and has good athleticism. He also gets a good push on the defensive line, and does not get pushed around that easily. He also is a tough nosed player, he has good instincts, and is a mauler. He is also very active with his hands, and arms to get leverage, and to stop the defender from getting around him. He also easily pushes around defenders, he does a good job of bending his knees, showing athleticism, and he does a good job of resetting his legs, and stopping the defender. On the other hand, he does not have the best speed, but that does not hurt his game. With that said, I view Jones as late day 2, to early day 3 pick when it is all said and done.
