Jason’s Official 2018 NFL Draft Scouting Report: Ohio State DT Michael Hill

Michael Hill, DT, Ohio State

Scouting Report:

Hill finished his career at Ohio State, where he played in 37 career games, had 37 tackles, 5.5 for loss, and 2.0 sacks. He has great size, is a solid tackler, a tough nosed player, and has good instincts. He gets good pressure on the quarterback, and is a good pass rusher. He is also a run stuffer, a hard hitter, and a relentless defender. He also creates havoc on defense, and he does not get pushed around that easily at the line of scrimmage. He also gets a good push on the offensive line, and he uses his power to get through the offensive line in pursuit of the ball carrier. On the other hand, he does not have great speed, but that does not hurt his game, he is also not known as a big sack guy, and he missed all but 3 games in 2013 due to injuries. With that said, I see Hill being a day 3 pick.
