Jason’s Official 2018 NFL Draft Scouting Report: Ohio ILB Quentin Poling

Quentin Poling, ILB, Ohio

Scouting Report:

Poling finished his career at Ohio, where he played 50 career games, had 374 tackles, 44.0 for loss, 18.5 sacks, 7 interceptions, 14 pass breakups, 7 forced fumbles, and 2 fumbles recovered. He has good speed, is a tackling machine, a tough nosed player, and has good instincts. He is a good cover linebacker, he gets good pressure on the quarterback, and is a good pass rusher. He is a very relentless defender, and he creates havoc on defense. He is also a defensive play maker, and a difference maker on defense. He is also a hard hitter, and a run stuffer. On the other hand, he is a bit undersized. With that said, I see Poling as a late round pick.
