Jason’s Official 2018 NFL Draft Scouting Report: Northern Iowa WR Daurice Fountain

Daurice Fountain, WR, Northern Iowa

Scouting Report:

Fountain finished his career at Northern Iowa, where he played in 52 career games, had 150 receptions, for 2077 receiving yards, and 23 receiving touchdowns. He has good size, good speed, is a solid pass catcher, and was a go-to receiver for Northern Iowa. He is a scoring machine, an offensive play maker, and a dynamic play maker. He has good instincts, and is a tough noised player. He also consistently beats his defender, and seems to catch everything thrown his way. He is a good route runner, a good deep threat, and a good redzone threat. He also breaks tackles, makes defenders miss, and is tough to bring down. On the other hand, while he has good speed, he does not have elite wide receiver speed. With that said, I view Fountain as a day 3 pick when it is all said and done.
