Jason’s Official 2018 NFL Draft Scouting Report: New Mexico State WR Jaleel Scott

Jaleel Scott, WR, New Mexico State

Scouting Report:

Scott Ended his career at New Mexico State, where he played in 24 career games, had 98 receptions, for 1361 receiving yards, and 14 receiving touchdowns. He has great size, along with great speed, is a solid pass catcher, and is sure handed. He is also a good route runner, was a go-to receive for New Mexico State, is a good deep threat, and a mismatch due to his tremendous size. He makes defenders miss, he breaks tackles, and is tough to bring down. He also goes up and gets the ball, as well as fighting for every yard. He also makes spectacular catches look easy, and he consistently beats his defender. On the other hand, he could be seen a 1-year wonder, as he did most of his work in 2017. With that said, i expect Scott to be a day 2 pick when it is all said and done.
