Jason’s Official 2018 NFL Draft Scouting Report: Iowa RB Akrum Wadley

Akrum Wadley, RB, Iowa

Scouting Report:

Wadley finished up his career at Iowa playing in 44 career games, where he had 544 carries, for 2895 rushing yards, and 28 rushing touchdowns. He was also prolific as a receiver, having 73 catches, for 763 receiving yards, and 7 receiving touchdowns. He was a workhorse back for Iowa, he has good speed, he has good vision, is a tough runner, and is a scoring machine. He is a good pass catching back, her makes defenders miss, he breaks tackles with ease, and is tough to take down. He is a dynamic play maker, he fights for every yard, and extra yards. He is also a good blocking back, he attacks the holes, is a very patient back, and is a very physical back. On the other hand, he is a but undersized, but that does not hurt his game. With that being said, I view Wadley being a early day 2 pick when it is all said and done.
