Jason’s Official 2018 NFL Draft Scouting Report: Hawaii S Trayvon Henderson

Trayvon Henderson, S, Hawaii

Scouting Report:

Henderson finished his career at Hawaii, where he played in 49 career games, had 237 tackles, 18.0 for loss, 9 interceptions, 22 pass breakups, 1 forced fumble, and 2 fumbles recovered. He has good size, he has good speed, was a tackling machine, and a ball hawk. He is a defensive play maker, and a difference maker on defense. He is a tough nosed player, and has good instincts. He is also a solid cover defensive back, and a hard hitter. He is very physical, and does not back down. He is also a relentless defender, and a ferocious defender. On the other hand, he missed all but 2 games in 2015 due to a knee injury, and while he has good speed, he does not have elite defensive back speed, but that does not hurt his game. With that said, I view Henderson as a day 3 pick when it is all said and done.
