Jason’s Official 2018 NFL Draft Scouting Report: Georgia RB Sony Michel

Sony Michel, RB, Georgia

Scouting Report:

Michel finished up his career at Georgia by playing in 47 career games, where he had 591 rushes, for 3838 rushing yards, and 33 rushing touchdowns. He also notched 64 catches, for 621 receiving yards, and 6 receiving touchdowns. He has good size, he has good speed, he has good vision, and is a tough runner. He is an offensive play maker, he fights for every yard, and extra yards, and was a workhorse back for UGA. He is a scoring machine, a good pass catching back, he is sure handed as a receiver, and a very explosive back. He makes defenders miss, he breaks tackles, and is tough to take down. On the other hand he does get stuffed at times, and he has had fumbling issues in the past. With that said, I expect Michel to be a early day 2 pick when it is all said and done.
