Jason’s Official 2018 NFL Draft Scouting Report: Florida DT Taven Bryan

Taven Bryan, DT, Florida

Scouting Report:

Bryan finished his career at Florida, where he played in 36 career games, had 62 tackles, 10.5 for loss, and 5.5 sacks. He also had 1 interception, 1 pass breakup, 1 forced fumble, and 3 fumbles recovered. He has good size, he has good speed, is a solid tackler, and has good instincts. He gets good pressure on the quarterback, and is a good pass rusher. He is also a hard hitter, and a run stuffer. He is a defensive play maker, and a difference maker on defense. He is also a very powerful defender, and he gets a good push on the offensive line. He also does not get pushed around that easily at the line of scrimmage, and he powers his way through, and around the offensive line n pursuit of the ball carrier. On the other hand, he is not known as a big sack guy. With that said, I see Bryan being a day 2 pick when it all said and done.
