Jason’s Official 2018 NFL Draft Scouting Report: Central Florida WR Tre’Quan Smith

TreQuan Smith, WR, Central Florida

Scouting Report:

Smith finished his career at Central Florida, where he played in 38 career games, had 168 receptions, for 2748 receiving yards, and 22 receiving touchdowns. He has good size, good speed, is a solid pass catcher, has good hands, and is a good route runner. He was a go-to receiver for UCF, he is a scoring machine, a good redzone threat, and a good deep threat. He makes defenders miss, he breaks tackles, and is tough to bring down. He is an offensive play maker, and a dynamic play maker. He also catches everything thrown his way, he makes spectacular catches look easy, and he consistently beats his man. On the other hand, while he has good speed, he does not have elite burner speed, but that does not hurt his game. With that said, I view Smith being a early day 3 pick when it is all said and done.
