Jason’s Official 2018 NFL Draft Scouting Report: Boise State TE Jake Roh

Jake Roh, TE, Boise State

Scouting Report:

Roh finished his career at Boise State, where he played in 49 career games, had 117 receptions, for 1288 receiving yards, and 12 receiving touchdowns. He has great size, he was a go-to receiver for Boise State, he also has good speed for his size, and he is a good pass catcher. He is also a good pass blocker, a solid run blocker, and he opens holes up for his backs. He makes defenders miss, he breaks tackles, and is tough to take down. He has good hands, and is a tough nosed player. He also gets a good push on the defensive line when blocking, and does not get pushed around that easily at the line of scrimmage. On the other hand, while he has good speed, he does not have elite tight end speed. With that said, I view Roh as a day 3 pick when it is all said and done.
