Jason’s Official 2018 NFL Draft Scouting Report: Auburn RB Kerryon Johnson

Kerryon Johnson, RB, Auburn

Scouting Report:

Johnson finished up his career at Auburn by playing in 37 career games, where he had 519 rushes, for 2494 rushing yards, and 32 rushing touchdowns. He also had 55 catches, for 478 receiving yards, and 2 receiving touchdowns. He has good size, he has good speed, is a good blocking back, and was a workhorse back for Auburn. He is a tough runner, has good vision, along with having good instincts, and is a very powerful back. He is also a good blocking back, and was a scoring machine. He makes defenders miss with ease, breaks tackles with ease, and is tough to bring down. On the other hand, while he has good speed, he does not have elite running back speed, but that does not hurt his game. With that said, I view Johnson being an early day 2 pick, with a chance of making it into the end of the 1st round when it is all said and done.
