Jason’s Official 2018 NFL Draft Scouting Report: Auburn RB Kamryn Pettway

Kamryn Pettway, RB, Auburn

Scouting Report:

Pettway finished his career at Auburn, where he played in 28 career games, had 288 rushes, for 1529 rushing yards, and 13 rushing touchdowns. He has good size, he has nice vision, is a tough runner, and he attacks the holes. He makes defenders miss, he breaks tackles with ease, and is tough to take down. He also runs over, and plows through defenders. He fights for every yard, and extra yards. He is a tough nosed player, and has good instincts. He is also a very physical back, a good goal line back, and the type of back that wears down the defense. On the other hand, he does get stuffed at times, he is not known as a pass catching back, as he only had 6 career receptions, and he does not have the best speed, but that does not hurt his game. With that said, I view Pettway being a day 3 pick when it is all said and done.
