Jason’s Official 2018 NFL Draft Scouting Report: Arkansas C Frank Ragnow

Frank Ragnow, C, Arkansas

Scouting Report:

Ragnow, who finished his career at Arkansas, has great size, is a good run blocker, and opens holes up for his backs. He is also a good pass blocker, and a mauler. He does get pushed around that easily, and he gets a good push on the defensive line. He is also a tough nosed player, and has good instincts. He easily pushes around defenders, is very active using his hands to get leverage, and does a good job of resetting his legs, and stopping the defender. He is also very athletic, and does a good job of bending his knees, showing his athleticism. On the other hand, he has issues with speedy rushers getting by him, and he does not have the best speed, but that does not hurt his game. With that said, I view Ragnow as a day 2 pick when it is all said and done.
