Treyvon Hester, DT, Toledo
Hester had a very nice career at Toledo, where he played in 47 career games, he had 161 tacklers, 31.5 for loss, and 13.0 sacks, proving to be a force on defense for the Toledo Rockets. He has great size, he is very experienced, he is a tough nosed player, and a run stuffer. He also gets good pressure on the quarterback, he is a good pass rusher, he had great sack numbers, and he creates havoc on defense. He also does a good job of tipping the ball at the line of scrimmage, and he bull rushes his way through the offensive line in pursuit of the quarterback. He does not have great speed, but that does not hurt his game, he also has issues with faster backs at times, and he dealt with a labrum injury at Toledo, which has kept him from working out, and kept him out of the East-West Shrine game. So with that said, I view Hester as a day 3 pick, likely somewhere in the 4th to 5th range, where he should be a rotational player for whoever picks him.
