2018 NFL Team Needs

AFC East:

Buffalo Bills:

QB- While the Bills did add AJ McCarron in free agency, after dealing away Tyrod Taylor, the Bills need to find a franchise QB.

WR- While the Bills have Kelvin Benjamin, who they acquired at the trade deadline, and Zay Jones, they have a need for a potential #2 WR.

TE- Beyond Charles Clay, the Bills only have unproven talents at TE, like Nick O’Leary, so finding a solid backup TE is a need.

C- With the retirement of Eric Wood, the Bills have to find someone who will be their long term starter at the C spot, despite adding Russell Boding, who signed a 2-year deal.

OG- The Bills have Richie Incognito signed for 1 more season, along with John Miller, and Vladimir Ducasse, so finding someone who can compete for a long term spot at one of the Guard spot is a huge need.

OT- The Bills signed Marshall Newhouse, they drafted Dion Dawkins, but traded away Cordy Glenn at the beginning of the offseason, so they need to add a long term answer at the LT spot.

DT- The Bills added Star Lotulelei, and re-signed Kyle Williams in free agency, but they could use a long term answer to go next to Lotulelei.

OLB- The Bills have Lorenzo Alexander, and Ramon Humber, plus they drafted Matt Milano, but none of those 3 names seem to be long term starters.

ILB- The Bills have Tanner Vallejo at ILB, but they can definitely use an upgrade over Vallejo.

CB- The Bills signed Vontae Davis, and drafted TreDavious White, but they could use a 3rd CB.

S- The Bills have Micah Hyde, who was added during the 2017 offseason, and they added Rafeal Bush this offseason, but finding someone who can be a long term starter opposite Hyde is a need.

Miami Dolphins:

QB- While Adam Gase and the Dolphins seem committed to Ryan Tannehill, they don’t have a real backup option, or someone who could push Tannehill, so finding someone who could do just that would be huge for the Dolphins.

RB- While they added Frank Gore, and have Kenyan Drake, adding another back to the mix would be huge.

TE- They don’t have a real proven option at TE, and while Thomas Duarte has a lot of potential, finding a long term answer could be on the menu for Miami.

C- Yes the Dolphins traded for former 49er Daniel Kilgore, after releasing Mike Pouncey, they should still be looking for someone for the future at C.

OG- The Dolphins shored up their offensive line, and that included adding Josh Sitton to likely play LG, but at RG, they have Isaac Asiata, who is a solid player, but they could look for someone to push, and compete with Asiata.

DT- They have some solid players, including Vincent Taylor, Davin Godchaux, Gabe Wright, and Jordan Phillips, they could look to add a big bodied NT, especially after they released Ndamukong Suh.

ILB- The Dolphins have Chase Allen, and Mike Hull at ILB, but neither appear to be a long term answer, they could move Raekwon McMillian to ILB, but adding someone at this position would be a solid move.

CB- They have 3 solid options, Cordrea Tankersley, Xavien Howard, and Bobby McCain, who are all still young, they could use some more depth.

New York Jets:

QB- This is the most obvious need for the Jets, they have a number of QBs on the roster, including former draft picks Christian Hackenberg & Bryce Petty, and they re-signed Josh McCown, & added Teddy Bridgewater this offseason, but they don’t have a long term, franchise QB, and they recently traded 3 2nd-round picks to move from the 6th spot, up to the 3rd spot, so it seems obvious they are looking at one of the top prospects at #3 overall.

TE- The Jets have Jordan Leggett, and Eric Tomlinson currently on their roster, so the need for a play making TE is a huge need, especially after losing Austin Seferian-Jenkins in free agency.

OT- The Jets have a solid option at LT in Kelvin Beachum, but at RT, they have uncertainty, with Brandon Shell & Brent Qvale there, so adding someone to anchor the right side of the offensive line is a huge need, especially if they do go QB at #3.

DE- The Jets only have Leonard Williams at one of their DE spots in their 3-4 defense, so adding someone is a need.

OLB- They added Lorenzo Mauldin, and have some young talent like Dylan Donahue, but they could use someone to compete for the other 3-4 OLB spot.

CB- The Jets added Trumaine Johnson this offseason, plus they added Rashard Robinson at the trade deadline, along with having vets like Morris Claiborne and Buster Skrine their, they could still use some young talent for the future, and to push the current veterans.

New England Patriots:

QB- Tom Brady is, well, Tom Brady, and as long as he’s in New England, the Patriots are always going to be the favorite to go to the Super Bowl as the AFC Champions, but they did deal away Jimmy Garoppolo last October, so they do need to find someone they could groom behind Brady.

WR- The Patriots have Brandin Cooks, and Julian Edelman, and youngsters like Malcolm Mitchell, and Cordarrelle Patterson, they could use a pick on a young guy to replace the departure of Danny Amendola.

TE- Even with the Gronk there, they need to think long term, as there is no guarantee Rob Gronkowski will be there, as he seems to be eyeing a career in the WWE, so thinking about the future is something the Pats need to consider.

OG- They drafted Joe Thuney, who appears to be slotted in at one of the Guard spots, and they have some intriguing players, like Ted Karras, and Shaquille Mason, but they could still use a pick on someone to push for a starting spot.

OT- The Pats lost Nate Solder in free agency, so this is a huge need, and while they have the potential in Antonio Garcia and Marcus Cannon, it’s still a huge need.

ILB- The Pats seem set at OLB with Don’t’a Hightower, & Kyle Van Noy, they don’t have the same stability at ILB, so this is something they need to address.

AFC North:

Cincinnati Bengals:

QB- They have their franchise QB in Andy Dalton, but they don’t have a solid young backup, and with just journeyman Matt Barkley, and waiver wire pickup Jeff Driskel on the roster, this is a need to be addressed.

RB- They have Joe MIxon, and Gio Bernard, but lost Jeremy Hill in free agency, they could use someone to compete for a job as the teams 3rd back.

C- The Bengals currently don’t have a solid solution at C, as they let Russell Bodine walk in free agency, so this is a huge need.

DE- They have 2 solid starters in Michael Johnson, and Carlos Dunlap, but after them, they only have Jordan Willis, so adding depth here is a good bet.

CB- Outside of Dre Kirkpatrick, and Darqueze Dennard, the Bengals don’t have many other proven commodities, so adding someone to compete with the likes of KeiVarae Russell, Josh Shaw, Sojourn Shelton, and William Jackson III would be wise.

Cleveland Browns:

QB- This seems to be a yearly thing, the Browns have passed on the likes of Carson Wentz, DeShaun Watson, Mitchell Trubisky, and Patrick Mahomes, while taking guys like DeShone Kizer, who was just traded, and Cody Kessler, the Browns don’t seem to know how to draft the right QB. And while they did add Tyrod Taylor, and Drew Stanton in the offseason, they NEED to find the right franchise QB, whether at 1st overall, or 4th overall.

RB- The Bengals added Carlos Hyde, and still have Duke Johnson, but they could use a 3rd back.

WR- Unless Josh Gordon stays out of trouble, the Browns need to add someone to join an interesting crop of WRs in Jarvis Landry, Corey Coleman, and Ricardo Louis.

OT- With the retirement of Joe Thomas, the Browns need to find someone to anchor the left side of their offensive line.

DE- Even with Myles Garrett, and Emmanuel Ogbah, the Browns could use more pass rushing help.

DT- The Browns traded Danny Shelton away, so there is a need for a big bodied DT.

ILB- The Browns are set at OLB with Jamie Collins, and Christian Kirksey, but they need someone at ILB.

CB- The Browns have some solid young talent, like Howard Wilson, Damarious Randall, Jamar Taylor, and Briean Boddy-Calhoun, they need a true shut down #1 CB.

S- The Browns could use someone to go opposite Jabrill Peppers.

Baltimore Ravens:

QB- The Ravens have Joe Flacco, but not much else behind him, so they need to add a solid #2 QB.

RB- They have Kenneth Dixon, and Buck Allen, but they could use a solid 3rd back.

WR- The Ravens landed Michael Crabtree, and John Brown, plus they have Breshad Perriman, they could use another option, especially after they let go of Mike Wallace, and failed to sign Ryan Grant after he failed his physical.

C- Besides Brandon Kublanow, the Ravens could use someone to compete with Kublanow.

OT- They are set at LT with Ronnie Stanley, but at RT, they have unproven talent, so finding someone to play RT is a huge need.

S- Beyond Eric Weddle, and Tony Jefferson, the Ravens could use some depth at S.

Pittsburgh Steelers:

QB- Ben Roethlisberger isn’t getting any younger, and whole Joshua Dobbs is a good young talent, the Steelers could use a draft pick on someone to develop, or groom behind Big Ben.

RB- Beyond James Conner, they don’t have a long term answer, and if they don’t extend Le’Veon Bell, things could get ugly for the Steelers, I don’t see them using a high pick on a back, but they need to add a back in case.

WR- The Steelers have the best WR in the game, in Antonio Brown, plus a great up and comer in JuJu Smith-Schuster, but there is the possibility that they deal Martavis Bryant, and the fact that Darrius Heyward-Bey is not a long term option, they could use a young WR to be their 3rd WR.

TE- Vance McDonald has been a bust since he entered the league in 2013 as a 2nd-round pick, and while Jesse James, and Xavier Grimble look good, they should be looking out for someone to push McDonald.

OG- They are set with David DeCastro, and Ramon Foster, but they could use some nice young depth behind them.

OT- Again, as with the Guard spot, the Steelers have 2 good Tackles, in Marcus Gilbert, and Alejandro Villanueva, but they could use a pick on someone to develop alongside Jerald Hawkins.

DT- They have a solid young 3-4 DT in Javon Hargrave, but they don’t have a solid backup to him.

OLB- T.J. Watt looks like a star in the making, but there is uncertainty on whether the Steelers will pickup Bud Dupree’s 5th-year option, so adding someone to compete, or be the guy opposite Watt would be wise.

ILB- If Ryan Shazier is 100%, this is not a big need, but with his neck injury, and not knowing if/when he will be back, the Steelers have to operate under the assumption that they need someone in place of Shazier.

S- Besides Sean Davis, and J.J. Wilcox, they don’t have much at S, so adding some depth is a good bet here.

AFC South:

Indianapolis Colts:

QB- If Andrew Luck is 100%, this is a minor need at best, but if Luck can’t come back, the Colts need to add someone, even in the later rounds, to come in, and compete for a spot.

RB- The Colts have a good back in Marlon Mack, along with some good young guys like Josh Ferguson, and Robert Turbin, but they let Frank Gore walk, so bringing in another back would be a wise move.

WR- The Colts lost Donte Moncrief, but added Ryan Grant, and still have TY Hilton, but they still have a need for another play making WR.

OG- While they signed Matt Slauson, and re-signed Jack Mewhort, the Colts need to be on the look for options at both Guard spot.

OT- The Colts have a solid LT in Anthony Costanzo, but they have unproven talent at RT in Le’Raven Clark, and Denzell Good, so this could be an area of need.

OLB- The Colts have John Simon at one OLB spot, and Jabaal Sheard at another, but he could be a cut candidate, so this may be a need for the Colts come draft weekend.

CB- The Colts have a need for a shut down CB, with just young players like Pierre Desir, Quincy Wilson, Nate Hairston there, so picking up a #1 CB is a huge need.

Jacksonville Jaguars:

QB- The Jags just re-signed Blake Bortles to a 3-year extension, but they have no one else behind him, so they have to bring in someone to backup Bortles.

WR- While they added Donte Moncrief, and re-signed Marqise Lee, they also let Allen Robinson walk, and released Allen Hurns, so finding a 3rd WR is a must.

OG- They added Andrew Norwell in free agency, and have AJ Cann at RG, but they could use some solid depth, and someone to push Cann at RG.

OT- The Jags have Jeremy Parnell at RT, and they have a young up and comer at LT in Cam Robinson, so adding depth would be wise.

ILB- The Jags have Brooks Ellis, and Donald Payne at ILB, plus they let go of the now retired Paul Posluszny, so they could look to upgrade that position.

Houston Texans:

QB- They found their franchise QB in DeShaun Watson last year, but they need a solid backup to Watson.

TE- The Texans have Ryan Griffin, but they could use some more help at TE.

OT- The Texans don’t have a legit star LT, even though they have solid players all over the offensive line, this is a need.

ILB- The Texans released Brian Cushing, so they have a need for a 3-4 ILB to go with Benardrick McKinney.

CB- The Texans did re-sign Johnathan Joseph, and they signed Aaron Colvin, plus have Kareem Jackson, and Kevin Johnson, but they could use some youth to develop for the eventual departure of Joseph.

S- The Texans added Tyrann Mathieu, and have Andre Hal, but they could use some depth here.

Tennessee Titans:

RB- They added Dion Lewis in free agency, and still have Derrick Henry, but they released Demarco Murray, so adding a 3rd back is a need.

WR- The Titans have Rishard Matthews, Corey Davis, and Tajae Sharpe, but they could still use another young receiver to develop.

OG- The Titans re-signed Josh Kline, their RG, but they don’t have someone locked into the LG spot, with Quinton Spain in a RFA tender, so look for the Titans to add someone to compete with Spain.

DE- Beyond Jurrell Casey, and DaQuan Jones, the Titans don’t have much depth at the 3-4 DE spot, so this a need.

ILB- The Titans have a good ILB in Wesley Woodyard, and some good young guys like Jayon Brown, but I could see them adding someone to compete for the other ILB spot in their 3-4 system.

AFC West:

Denver Broncos:

QB- The Broncos added Case Keenum in free agency, and they have recent draft picks Paxton Lynch, and Chad Kelly, but I can see them adding someone to compete with Lynch and Kelly.

WR- They have Demaryius Thomas, and Emmanuel Sanders, but they need to find a young receiver or two to devlop for the future.

TE- They drafted Jake Butt last year, but lost Virgil Green in free agency, so this is a need for sure.

OLB- They have one of the best pass rushers in the game in Von Miller, plus they have Shane Ray, and Shaquil Barrett, so this isn’t a pressing need, but I can see them adding someone to develop.

CB- They traded away Aqib Talib, and have just newcomer Tramaine Brock, and holdover Chris Harris Jr. at CB, so finding a big time CB is a huge need.

S- They have a solid Safety in Darian Stewart, but they could use some more help there.

Los Angeles Chargers:

QB- They have Phillip Rivers, and Cardale Jones at QB, but I can see them adding someone to the mix to compete with Jones.

RB- The Chargers have a good back in Melvin Gordon, but they could use a solid #2 back.

WR- They seem set here, with Mike Williams, Keenan Allen, Travis Benjamin, and Tyrell Williams, but I can see them adding a young guy to develop in the later rounds.

OT- They have Joseph Barksdale, and Russell Okung at Tackle, but they could use some depth there.

OLB- They have a great edge rusher in Melvin Ingram, but beyond him, they have youngsters like Kyle Emanuel, and Chris McCain, so adding someone else to go opposite Ingram wouldn’t be a bad idea.

ILB- They have a solid ILB in Denzel Perryman, but they could use someone to push for the other starting 3-4 ILB spot.

CB- I like their top 3 CBs, Jason Verrett, Casey Hayward, and Desmond King, but they could still look to add some more depth.

S- They have Jahleel Addade at one Safety spot, and then Rayshawn Jenkins, and A.J. Hendy at the other spot battling, so bringing in someone to compete opposite Addade would be wise.

Kansas City Chiefs:

WR- The Chiefs added Sammy Watkins, and they still have Tyreek Hill, Chris Conley, and youngsters like Jehu Chesson, and Demarcus Robinson, but they let Albert Wilson walk, so this could be an area of need for them.

TE- Beyond Travis Kelce, they don’t have many TEs that will put fear into opposing defenses.

OG- Besides Laurent Duvernay-Tardif, the Chiefs don’t have another solid starter, so adding someone who can come in, and compete is a need.

DE- They only have Allen Bailey, and Chris Jones, while Rakeem Nunez-Roches is on his RFA tender, so adding some depth would be a plus.

DT- The Chiefs don’t really have a big NT for their 3-4 system, so I expect them to add someone in the draft.

CB- They have Steven Nelson, Kendall Fuller, and David Amerson, but they dealt away Marcus Peters, so adding a big time CB looks like a must.

Oakland Raiders:

RB- The Raiders may have a good youngster in DeAndre Washington, and a solid veteran in Marshawn Lynch, they need to think long term, and find a dynamic back.

WR- The Raiders have Amari Cooper, and added Jordy Nelson, but beyond them, they don’t have much else, so adding some nice young play makers would be smart.

TE- Besides Jared Cook, the Raiders don’t have someone at TE to put fear in opposing defenses.

OG- They are set with Kelechi Osemele, and Gabe Jackson, but they could use some depth behind those two.

OT- They have Donald Penn, and then a lot of unproven players, so I expect them to add someone to compete for the RT spot.

OLB- Bruce Irvin could be a cut candidate at some point, so adding someone to start opposite him, and/or replace him down the road would be a smart move.

ILB- They have Marquel Lee at ILB, that’s it, so they need to add someone to compete with Lee.

CB- The Raiders have a good one in Gareon Conley, plus they signed Rashaan Melvin, and Sharece Wright, albeit to 1-year deals, so looking ahead is something they need to do.

NFC East:

Dallas Cowboys:

QB- The Cowboys are set for the future at QB with Dak Prescott, but they could use a solid backup to him.

RB- Beyond Zeke, the Cowboys don’t have a real 2nd back, with Alfred Morris unsigned, this should be a position they look to fill in the draft.

WR- With the addition of Allen Hurns, plus already having Terrance Williams, and Dez Bryant signed, they still need to look down the line, as Brice Butler is unsigned, and this could be the last year for Cole Beasley if Hurns beats him out for the slot WR spot, plus the uncertainty around Bryant’s future.

TE- Jason Witten keeps playing, and playing at a high level, but sooner or later they’re going to need to find a replacement, or someone to groom to be his replacement.

OG- They’re set at RG with Zack Martin, who is looking to get extended, but they have a need at LG, it seems with the addition of Cameron Fleming, La’El Collins will move there, but that’s not guaranteed, either way, adding someone here, even as depth, would be a smart move.

OT- They added Cameron Fleming, they have Tyron Smith, but no backups, so this is a huge need.

OLB- Besides Sean Lee, the Cowboys don’t have another solid starter, so I expect them to look at some of the best OLBs in this yaers class.

CB- They have Jourdan Lewis, and Chidobe Awuzie, but not much else, so adding someone here would be huge.

Philadelphia Eagles:

RB- With Darren Sproles unsigned, they could look to add a fast back, to pair with Jay Ajayi, and Donnel Pumphrey.

WR- They have Alshon Jeffrey, and Nelson Agholor as their starters, but they could use a solid 3rd WR to compete with Mack Hollins.

TE- Beyond Zach Ertz, they need to add someone here, especially after cutting Brent Celek.

DE- Yes they brought in Michael Bennett, but with his recent off the field issues coming into light, and the fact that the futures of Brandon Graham, and Chris Long are up in the air, I think it would be smart to look at this spot.

OLB- This could be a huge need if the Eagles were to let go of Mycal Kendricks.

S- They could use some depth here to go behind Malcolm Jenkins, and Rodney McLeod.

New York Giants:

QB- Eli Manning isn’t getting any younger, and while they drafted Davis Webb, they need to find a true franchise QB of the future.

WR- It’s very possible that the Giants cut Brandon Marshall, and with the fact that Odell Beckham Jr. won’t play under his 5th-year option, they could be looking at some of the top prospects to go with Sterling Shepherd, Roger Lewis, and Travis Rudolph.

C- The Giants lost Weston Richburg this offseason, and have Brett Jones at C, so this is a huge need for them.

OG- They do have Patrick Omameh that they added in free agency, plus holdovers like, John Jerry, Damien Mama, and John Greco, who they re-signed, this is still a potential area of need.

DE- They do have Kareem Martin, and Olivier Vernon as their starters, they did just deal away Jason Pierre-Paul, they could look to add a nice young player here.

CB- They have Janoris Jenkins, and then Eli Apple, who may or may not be their long term, so this is a huge need for them, especially after cutting Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie.

S- They are set with Darian Thompson, and Landon Collins, but they could use some depth.

Washington Redskins:

QB- They did trade for, and extend Alex Smith, but they should be looking for someone for the future.

WR- They have Josh Doctson, Paul Richardson, and Jamison Crowder, but could use some more good, young play makers at WR.

TE- They do have Jordan Reed, and Vernon Davis but they could look for someone to eventually push Davis off the roster.

OG- They have Brandon Scherff at RG, who will be looking to get extended, but they need some stability at LG.

OT- They seem to be set with Trent Williams, and Morgan Moses, but they could use some depth here.

ILB- They have Mason Foster at one 3-4 ILB spot, but they could use someone to compete for the other spot.

CB- While they have Josh Norman, Fabian Moreau, and recently added Orlando Scandrick, I can see them adding a young player here.

NFC North:

Chicago Bears:

RB- They are set with Jordan Howard at the starter, and Tarik Cohen as their change of pace back, but they could use a solid upgrade at the 3rd back spot.

WR- They did add Taylor Gabriel, and Allen Robinson, as well as returning Cameron Meredith, if he doesn’t sign elsewhere as a RFA, but Kevin White is a clear bust, and their top WR last year, Dontrelle Inman is unsigned, so this could be a need.

OG- They are set with Kyle Long at RG, but they could look for an upgrade at LG, with the departure of Josh Sitton.

DE- They do have Akiem Hicks, and Jonathan Bullard, but they coiuld use some more depth.

DT- Eddie Goldman is slotted at their starting 3-4 DT, but they could use a solid backup.

CB- They brought back Kyle Fuller, and Prince Amukamara, but I can see them adding a 3rd CB in the draft.

S- They have Eddie Jackson, but could use someone to compete for the other safety spot.

Detroit Lions:

RB- While they have some good backs, like Theo Riddick, and Ameer Abdullah, plus they added LeGarrette Blount, I can see them looking at one of the top backs with their 1st-round pick.

WR- This has been a need ever since Calvin Johnson retired, and while they have TJ Jones, Golden Tate, and Marvin Jones, they don’t have a true #1 WR.

TE- They added Luke Willson, but released Eric Ebron, so I can see them adding someone here.

C- The Lions have a huge need at C.

OG- They have Graham Glasgow, and T.J. Lang at the Guard spots, but they could use depth, or even a starter if they decide to move Glasgow to C, which he played at Michigan.

DE- Besides Ziggy Ansah, who they tagged as their franchise player, they have a need here, even with up and comers Anthony Zettel, and Cornerlius Washington.

OLB- They are set with Jalen Reeves-Maybin, and Devon Kennard, but they could use some solid depth.

Green Bay Packers:

WR- They re-signed Davante Adams, and still have Randall Cobb, and up and comer Geronimo Allison, but they cut Jordy Nelson, so they need to add someone here.

OG- They have Lane Taylor at LG, and then Justin McCray at RG, but they could use someone to compete with McCray.

DT- They have Kenny Clark, but they could use a backup to Clark.

ILB- They have Jake Ryan at one ILB spot, and Blake Martinez at the other, but I can see them adding someone to compete with him.

CB- While they have Kevin King, and Quinten Rollins at CB, they could use a solid shut down type CB.

S- After Morgan Burnett let in free agency, and trading away Damarious Randall, this becomes a huge need to get someone to go opposite Ha-Ha Clinton-Dix.

Minnesota Vikings:

RB- They have their back of the future in Dalvin Cook, and a solid veteran in Latavius Murray, but they need to find a speedy back, after they lost Jerick McKinnon in free agency.

WR- They have former 1st-rounder Laquon Treadwell, as well as Adam Thielen, and Stefon Diggs, but they cut Jarius Wright, so adding another play maker would be huge.

TE- They have Kyle Rudolph and David Morgan II, but besides that, they don’t have a lot else.

C- They have two guys who can play here, either Nick Easton or Pat Elflein, but both could move to Guard, or only one, but either way, they need a backup at least.

OG- The Vikings lost Joe Berger to retirement, and have either Nick Easton, or Pat Elflein at one Guard spot, with the other possibly being their Center, but they still would have a need here for a starter.

OT- The Vikings have Riley Reiff at LT, and right now Mike Remmers at RT, but they may move Remmers to RG, thus meaning they’d have a need at RT.

DT- The Vikes brought in Sheldon Richardson to pair with Linval Joseph, and they have Jaleel Johnson, but I can see them adding a 4th DT to the mix.

OLB- Anthony Barr is a stud, and one of their top defenders, and pass rushers, but they may look to upgrade over Ben Gedeon.

CB- They have Xavier Rhodes, Trae Waynes, and Mackensie Alexander, but could use a solid 4th CB with Terence Newman unsigned.

NFC South:

Tampa Bay Buccaneers:

RB- The Buccaneers have Peyton Barber, but let go of Doug Martin, and Charles Sims is still unsigned. With that said, I see the Buccaneers adding a back at some point.

WR- They have Mike Evans signed long term, plus DeSean Jackson, along with young guys like Adam Humphries, and Chris Godwin, but they could look for a young play maker, to potentially replace Jackson at some point.

OG- They have 2 options for their LG spot, Ryan Jensen, or current Center Ali Marpet, plus they have J.R. Sweezy at RG, but they could use some depth there.

OLB- They are set with Lavonte David at one OLB spot, but they may draft someone to compete for the other spot.

CB- They have their starters in Brent Grimes, and Vernon Hargreaves III, but they could look to add a 3rd CB to the mix.

S- They re-signed Keith Tandy, and have others like Chris Conte, and Justin Evans, but they could look to upgrade the position at some point.

Atlanta Falcons:

RB- They seem set this season with Devonta Freeman, and Tevin Coleman, but Coleman will be a FA after the 2018 season.

WR- The Falcons have Julio Jones, and Mohamed Sanu, but could look to upgrade at the slot WR with the departure of Taylor Gabriel.

TE- They have Austin Hooper, but Levine Toliolo is unsigned, so this is a need.

DE- The Falcons have Takkarist McKinley, and Brooks Reed at DE, but just lost Adrian Clayborn in free agency, so they could use another pass rusher here.

CB- The Falcons have Desmond Trufant, and Robert Alfrord, but after that, they have uncertainty, with Leon McFadden, Brian Poole, and Damontae Kazee, so adding depth would be wise.

Carolina Panthers:

QB- The Panthers have Cam Newton, but need to add someone to develop as the #2 QB.

RB- They have Christian McCaffrey, and Cameron Artis-Payne, but they released Jonathan Stewart, so they could use a 3rd back.

TE- They have Greg Olsen, and then uncertainty behind him, with Evan Baylis, Kent Taylor and Chris Martinez signed, so this is an area they need to upgrade at.

C- Yes they have Ryan Kalil, but he is entering the final year of his contract, and they could look to add his replacement.

OG- They have Trai Turner set at RG, but they could use some help at LG.

DE- They have Mario Addison, Daeshon Hall, and Julius Peppers, but with Peppers aging, and on a 1-year deal, they could look to find his replacement this year.

OLB- Again, while they are set with Thomas Davis, and Shaq Thompson, they could always use help, especially with the likely retirement of Davis after the 2018 season.

CB- The Panthers have Captain Munerlyn, Corn Elder, and James Bradberry, but they could look to add some more depth to this group.

New Orleans Saints:

QB- Drew Brees signed a new 2-year deal, but he isn’t the future, so they may look in the draft for someone to be groomed to take over for Brees.

WR- They have some good players, Michael Thomas, Ted Ginn Jr., and Willie Snead, but I expect them to look for more young play makers.

TE- They have Coby Fleener, and struck out on a reunion with Jimmy Graham, so you know they will be looking to add someone here.

OT- They are set at Tackle, with Terron Armstead, and Ryan Ramczyk, but they could use some good depth.

DE- They have a stud in Cameron Jordan, plus good young players like Trey Hendrickson, and Al-Quadin Muhammad, but they could look to add to their pass rush.

DT- With Sheldon Rankins slotted at one of their DT spot, they could look for someone to come in and compete for the other DT spot.

CB- The Saints have Patrick Robinson, Marshon Lattimore, and Ken Crawley, but they could look to add more depth at CB, especially with those receivers in their division.

NFC West:

San Francisco 49ers:

WR- The 49ers have Pierre Garcon, they extended Marquise Goodwin, and have a solid young slot WR in Trent Taylor, but they need to add a dynamic play maker to this group.

TE- Garrett Celek, and George Kittle are nice TEs, but they could use a true play making TE.

OG- The 49ers added Jonathan Cooper, and have Zane Beadles, Joshua Garnett, and Laken Tomlinson, but they still need stability in the interior part of their offensive line, they have it at C with Weston Richburg, but they should add at least one Guard to compete.

OT- They have 3 solid Tackles, with Joe Staley, and Trent Brown slotted at LT & RT, and Garry Gilliam as their swing Tackle, but they could look to the future, as Staley has 2 years left on his deal, and Brown is entering his final year of his rookie contract.

DE- The 49ers have a huge need for a pass rusher, they signed Jeremiah Attaochu, re-signed Cassius Marsh, plus have Solomon Thomas, and Arik Armstead, but they still need to find a pass rushing demon in this years draft.

OLB- The 49ers have a solid weakside linebacker in Malcolm Smith, but have a need for a the strong side linebacker spot, with Eli Harold slotted right now, but they could look to upgrade in the draft.

ILB- They have Reuben Foster, and Brock Coyle right now, but with Foster’s off the field issues, they may be forced to add someone who can fill in for him, as Coyle is mainly a special teamer, who was thrown into the lineup after injuries to Foster, and the releases of NaVorro Bowman, and Ray-Ray Armstrong.

CB- They added Richard Sherman, plus they have Ahkello Witherspoon, and K’Waun Williams, but beyond them, they have unproven talent, like Greg Mabin, Channing Stribling, and Trovon Reed, so adding at least some depth, if not a potential shut down #1 CB of the future, is a must.

Arizona Cardinals:

QB- The Cardinals added Sam Bradford, and Mike Glennon to their roster after Carson Palmer retired, but they need a true franchise QB of the future.

RB- Beyond David Johnson, the Cards need to find a solid backup to him, and a chance of pace back.

WR- They have Larry Fitzgerald, along with youngsters like Chad Williams, and JJ Nelson, but they lost both Jaron Brown, and John Brown in free agency, so getting a play maker at WR is a huge need, especially with Fitzgerald’s future uncertain, as he could decide to retire after the 2018 season.

TE- They have Jermaine Gresham, and then uncertainty behind him, so look for them to add a TE to the mix.

OG- The Cards added Justin Pugh to play RG, but as for LG, they have Mike Iupati, who hasn’t lived up to his hype, so they may look to add someone to compete, or push Iupati.

DE- They have Robert Nkemdiche at one DE spot, but need to add someone else to start opposite him.

CB- They have on of the best CBs in Patrick Peterson, but beyond him, not much proven talent, so I expect them to add someone to the mix.

S- They have Antonie Bethea, and Budda Baker, while Baker is the future, Bethea is an aging veteran, plus they did release Tyrann Mathieu, so this is definitely a huge area of need.

Los Angeles Rams:

RB- They have maybe the best back in the league in Todd Gurley, but they could use a pick on a change of pace back.

WR- While they added Cooper Kupp in last years draft, and they have Robert Woods, they did lose Sammy Watkins, so look for them to add another weapon for Jared Goff.

OG- They have Rodger Saffold at LG, but as far as RG goes, they have Jamon Brown, so they could look to bring someone in to compete with him.

DE- They added Ndamukong Suh, they have Aaron Donald, but they need to add more depth to compete with Tanzel Smart, and Ethan Westbrooks.

OLB- The Rams have some young guys, namely Ejuan Price, Garrett Sickels, Samson Ebukam, and Matt Longcare, but I could see them adding someone else to compete, especially with Connor Barwin unsigned.

ILB- They are set with Mark Barron at one 3-4 ILB spot, but they could use someone to compete with Bryce Hager, and Corey Littelton.

S- They tagged Lamarcus Joyner, but beyond him, they could look to add someone to compete for the other starting safety spot.

Seattle Seahawks:

QB- They have Russell Wilson, but beyond him, not much, so they should look for a solid backup to Wilson, as he has had injury issues in the past.

RB- They have C.J. Prosise, and Chris Carson, but they could use a 3rd back.

WR- While they have some solid players, like Jaron Brown, Amara Darboh, and Tyler Lockett, there is the possibility that Doug Baldwin may not last much longer in Seattle, so taking a play maker could be a huge need.

TE- They signed Ed Dickson in free agency, but lost both Jimmy Graham, and Luke Willson, and while they still have Nick Vannett, they could look to add to this group.

OG- They could move Ethan Pocic to LG, and with DJ Fluker at RG, while on a 1-year deal, they seem set here for now, but they could look to take someone to compete or be groomed.

DE- They traded away Michael Bennett, and the future of Cliff Avril is uncertain, so this is a need for sure.

DT- They have two solid players here, in Jarran Reed, and Malik McDowell, but they could use some depth here.

OLB- They still have K.J. Wright, and added Barkevious Mingo, but they should be looking to the future, and finding some play makers at OLB.

CB- They lost Richard Sherman, and DaShawn Shead, but still have Shaquill Griffin, but they need to find a shut down CB.

S- They have Earl Thomas still, but with Kam Chancellor’s future uncertain, they should be looking to add someone here.
