2016 NFL Team Needs

AFC East:

Buffalo Bills:

QB – The Bills have Tyrod Taylor, and EJ Manuel at QB, but Taylor only has one year left on his deal, they will look to extend Taylor, and they will most certainly look for another QB to compete with Manuel as the 2nd QB.

WR- The Bills lost Chris Hogan to division rival New England, and only Sammy Watkins, and Robert Woods appear as long terms answers, so I can see them adding another threat to their offense.

OT – They Have Cordy Glenn at LT, on a 1-year franchise tag, and they have Cyrus Kounadjio, and Senatrel Herderson competing at RT, but they could use some quality depth.

4-3 DE – They let Mario Williams go, so they will need to find a premiere 4-3 End to replace him.

4-3 DT – With Marcell Dareus signed long term, and Kyle Williams still under contract but not getting any younger, I can see the Bills drafting another DT, especially since Alex Carrington is a UFA.

ILB – The Bills have Preston Brown, and Kevin Reddick at ILB, but I’m not sure they are the long term answer(s).

CB – The Bills released Leodis McKelvin, so adding another CB would be a wise move.

Miami Dolphins:

RB – The Dolphins need to add an every down back, as they lost Lamar Miller to the Texans in free agency, and didn’t get C.J. Anderson as a RFA.

WR – The Dolphins have some solid young receivers in Kenny Stills, Jarvis Landry, and DeVantae Parker, but I can see them adding another WR for depth.

TE – They do have Jordan Cameron signed, but for just the 2016 season, so adding a future starter at TE could be a huge need.

4-3 OLB – With only Koa Misi signed long term, the Dolphins could use someone else to go opposite Misi.

CB – The Dolphins did add Byron Maxwell in an offseason trade with the Eagles, but they let go of Brent Grimes, and didn’t add another CB, so adding a true #1 shutdown CB is a huge priority.

S – They have Reshad Jones signed long terms, added Isa Adbul-Quddus in free agency, and retained Michael Thomas, but I still see them adding more depth, and quality at the Safety spot.

New England Patriots:

RB – The Pats had Steven Jackson in 2015, but they need to add youth to the backfield.

WR- They did add Chris Hogan from Buffalo, but I still believe they need to find a true play maker at WR.

TE- The Pats cut Scott Chandler, so adding another TE is a need.

C – With only Bryan Stork at Center, I can see the Pats adding depth at Center.

OT – Look for them to at least add depth, if not upgrade over key backup Marcus Cannon.

4-3 DE- The Pats dealt away Chandler Jones, so look for them to add someone to fill his shoes.

ILB – The Patriots need to add an ILB after Jerod Mayo retired.

CB – With no real shutdown CB on the roster after losing Darelle Revis last offseason, and no other CBs really signed long term, I can see the Pats adding 1-2 quality CBs in this year’s draft.

New York Jets:

QB – The Jets lack a franchise QB, so getting someone in this year’s class is a must to try and develop into that franchise QB.

WR- Brandon Marshall has 2 years left on his deal, while Eric Decker is signed long term, but they could easily get out of them if they don’t produce in 2016, so adding another WR to go with last years’ draftee Devin Smith could be a huge get for them.

TE – The Jets cut Jeff Cumberland, and only have Jace Amaro, and Zach Sudfeld as solid TE options, so adding another TE is a need.

OT- D’Bricksahw Ferguson retired, and they added Ryan Clady in a trade, but getting a tackle for the future would be wise.

3-4 DE – Leonard Williams was their 1st-round pick last year, and they do have Sheldon Richardson, but they also tagged Muhammad Wilkerson, and I doubt they intend to extend him, so expect the Jets to add depth at DE.

ILB – I can see them adding someone to potentially take over for David Harris in a few years as the leader of the defense.

CB – The Jets cut Antonio Cromartie, so adding a 3rd CB is key to go along with Darrelle Revis, and Buster Skrine.

AFC North:

Baltimore Ravens:

QB – They have Joe Flacco, but beyond him, there isn’t much left, so adding a 2nd or 3rd string QB to develop is a need.

RB – They have Justin Forsett back, and Buck Allen from last years’ class, but I can see them adding a 3rd or 4th back.

WR – With Steve Smith not getting any younger, they would be wise to add some more youth to go with Breshad Perriman.

OT- Eugene Monroe is signed at LT, but he isn’t the answer long term, so getting someone to protect their QB for the next 10 years is a need.

3-4 DE – While they have Kapron Lewis-Moore, and Timmy Jernigan, I still see them adding some depth at DE.

3-4 OLB – The Ravens have Elvin Dumervil, and Terrell Suggs signed, but adding another 3-4 OLB for the future is needed.

S- The Ravens added Eric Weddle in free agency, but can still use another solid Safety to go opposite Weddle.

Cincinnati Bengals:

RB – Besides Jeremy Hill, and Gio Bernard, the Bengals don’t have another threat at RB.

WR – This may be their biggest need at both Marvin Jones, and Mohamed Sanu left in free agency.

TE- They have Tyler Eifert, and Tyler Kroft, but they could look to add a 3rd TE.

OT- While Andrew Whitworth is a solid LT, he isn’t signed long term, so adding someone there would be huge, plus there is no word on whether or not Andre Smith will return.

4-3 DE – While Michael Johnson is a nice player, they need someone to go opposite Carlos Dunlap.

CB – With only Dre Kirkpatrick slotted in at one CB spot, adding someone else is key.

S- They re-signed George Iloka in free agency, but can still use another Safety to go opposite him.

Cleveland Browns:

QB – The Browns finally ended the Johnny Manziel experiment, and need to find their true long term QB.

RB – They have Duke Johnson, and Isaiah Crowell at RB, but adding a 3rd back is a need that needs to be addressed.

WR- The Browns keep refusing to add a top tier WR in the draft, and they lost Travis Benjamin, and certainly can’t count on Josh Gordon to stay clean, plus Dwayne Bowe isn’t getting any younger.

TE – They have some solid TEs, but no game changer, so adding one is a need.

C – After losing Alex Mack, the Browns should be looking for a Center to compete with last years 1st-round pick, Cameron Erving.

OT- The Browns need to add a Tackle to take over for the departure of Mitchell Schwartz, who left in free agency.

ILB – They released Karlos Dansby, so getting a new ILB is a must.

CB – Only Joe Haden, and Tramon Williams are signed long term, and former first rounder, Justin Gilbert hasn’t lived up to expectations.

S- They lost Tashaun Gipson in free agency, and Donte Whitner was released, so expect them to address that in the draft.

Pittsburgh Steelers:

RB – Adding a 3rd back to go with Le’Veon Bell, and DeAngelo Williams is a need.

WR – They have Markus Wheaton, and Antonio Brown, and retained Darrius Heyward-Bey, but the year long suspension just given out to Martavis Bryant makes WR a need come draft day.

TE – They did add former Chargers TE Ladarius Green, but still could use someone else to go with him, and Jesse James.

OT – They lost Kelvin Beachum in free agency, so getting a new LT is a huge need.

3-4 NT- The Steelers lost Steve McLendon in free agency, so adding a NT is a must.

ILB – Ryan Shazier is at one ILB spot, but Lawrence Timmons the other ILB isn’t getting any younger, or cheaper, so finding a future stud ILB is a need.

CB – Outside of Cortez Allen, there is no one else signed long term, they do have some good young CBs with potential, like Senquez Golson, but they would be wise to add a shutdown CB.

AFC South:

Houston Texans:

QB – While they did add Brock Osweiler in free agency, getting a #2 QB is a need.

RB- The Texans cut Arian Foster, but replaced him with Lamar Miller, but I still see this as a need.

WR- Outside of DeAndre Hopkins and Jaelen Strong, the Texans don’t have a lot at WR, so this is a need.

TE- The Texans cut Garrett Graham, and don’t have a true #1 TE, so this is a need.

C- They added Tony Bergstrom in free agency, but I can see them adding depth at Center.

OG- They did add Jeff Allen from Kansas City, but lost Brandon Brooks, so OG is still a need for me.

3-4 DE – Besides J.J. Watt, they have no one else who strikes fear at DE.

3-4 NT – Even with Vince Wlfork there, who isn’t getting younger, this is a need to me.

ILB- Brian Cushing is one of the best ILBs in the NFL, but getting another stud ILB is a need.

CB – Outside of Johanthan Joseph, Kareem Jackson, and Kevin Johnson, the Texans could use some more CB depth.

S- Rahim Moore was let go, so getting someone at Safety could be huge.

Indianapolis Colts:

RB- Ahmad Bradshaw has been great for them, and Frank Gore has always been a great RB, but they need youth here.

WR- T.Y. Hilton, Phillip Dorsett, and Donte Moncrief are a great trio, but they need someone to replace Andre Johnson.

TE- They retained Dwayne Allen, but lost Coby Fleener, so adding another TE is a need.

OG- They need to upgrade the Guard position big time.

OT- They could use a RT to compete with Denzell Goode.

3-4 NT- David Parry isn’t the long term answer at NT, so this is a need.

3-4 OLB- The Colts cut Bjoern Werner, so getting someone else in there is a need.

ILB – Besides D’Qwell Jackson, they don’t have much else at ILB.

CB – They do have Vontae Davis, and D’Joun Smith, but CB is still a need.

S- Guys like Mike Adams, and Colt Anderson won’t cut it at Safety for the Colts, they need upgrades.

Jacksonville Jaguars:

RB- Even though they added Chris Ivory, and have TJ Yeldon, I still see them adding a 3rd back, especially with Toby Gerhart gone.

WR- The future of Justin Blackmon is up ion the air, and with no true #1 WR, the Jags better be looking for one in this year’s draft.

TE- The Jags have Julius Thomas, and Marcedes Lewis, but I think a solid 3rd TE is a need.

C- The Jags could use an upgrade at Center with Stefan Wisniewski’s future unknown.

OG- The Jags cut Zane Beadles who was a mistake free agent signing, so they need an upgrade at LG.

CB – Davon House is signed long term, but no one else is looked at as a long term answer, they did add Prince Amukamara, but on a 1-year deal, so adding a CB or 2 is a need.

S- They have their two starters, Jonathan Cyprien, and Tashaun Gipson, but adding some depth would be a big boost.

Tennessee Titans:

TE- They could use some depth to go along with Delanie Walker.

OT- The Titans need to get a premier LT to help protect Marcus Mariota.

3-4 DE- Outside of Jurrell Casey, the Titans don’t have another solid 3-4 DE.

ILB- Besides Wesley Woodyard, they don’t have a big time ILB to go with him.

CB- The Titans lost Coty Sensabaugh in free agency, so adding a CB is huge.

S- The Titans could use another Safety to go opposite Da’Norris Searcy.

AFC West:

Denver Broncos:

QB- The Broncos lost Brock Osweiler in free agency to the Texans, and Peyton Manning retired, so they need a franchise QB.

RB- The Broncos retained C.J. Anderson after matching an offer sheet, but this is still a need.

WR- The Broncos could use a 3rd WR to go with Demaryius Thomas, and Emmanuel Sanders.

TE- The Broncos never did replace Julius Thomas, and they let go of Owen Daniels, so TE is a need.

C- The Broncos need to find a Center that they can build their interior O-Line around.

OG- Evan Mathis signed elsewhere, so adding a LG is a need.

3-4 DE- The Broncos lost Malik Jackson in free agency, and only have Derek Wolfe at on End spot, so getting another End would be huge.

3-4 OLB- DeMarcus Ware restructured his contract, but they need to look to the future, and add a legit pass rushing 3-4 OLB.

ILB- The Broncos will likely retain Brandon Marshall, who was tendered at the 2nd-round level, but they lost Danny Trevathan in free agency, so adding another ILB is a must.

CB- Chris Harris, and Aqib Talib are solid, and they have Bradley Roby, but adding a 4th or 5th CB is a need.

Kansas City Chiefs:

QB- The Chiefs need to replace Chase Daniel who left in free agency, and maybe look to developing someone to take over for Alex Smith.

RB- Besides Jamaal Charles, who’s coming off a torn ACL, and Knile Davis at RB, the Chiefs would be wise to add insurance to the backfield.

WR- Jeremy Maclin is there long term, and they drafted Chris Conley last year, but adding some more weapons for Alex Smith is a need.

TE- The Chiefs have Travis Kelce at TE, but could use another TE to compete with James O’Shaughnessy for the #2 TE spot.

OG- Ben Grubbs was released, and Jeff Allen left in free agency, so adding a new LG and/or RG is a must.

3-4 DE- The Chiefs could use some help at DE, especially if Mike DeVito doesn’t return.

ILB- Derrick Johnson was retained, but adding someone to go next to him is a need.

CB- The Chiefs lost Sean Smith to division rival Oakland, so adding a CB is a must.

S- Eric Berry was franchised, so he should return, and Ron Parker is also signed, but adding depth, quality depth is a need.

Oakland Raiders:

RB- The Raiders have a solid RB in Latavius Murray, but I think they need to add someone else to the backfield, to give Murray a break, and help.

WR- Amari Cooper, and Michael Crabtree is a nice 1-2 punch, but adding a quality 3rd WR would be a huge score for them.

TE- They have Clive Walford, and Mychal Rivera at TE, but they could use a 3rd TE.

OG- Again they added Osemele, and even if he plays LG, they could use an upgrade at RG.

4-3 DE- Aldon Smith is back, but he may not play in 2016 due to him being suspended.

4-3 DT- Dan Williams is a solid DT, but they could use someone else to go alongside him.

ILB- The Raiders released Curtis Lofton, so adding an ILB early is a must.

CB- They did add Sean Smith, and have D.J. Hayden, but they need more depth at CB.

S- Charles Woodson retired, and they don’t have anyone signed long term, so this is a need at both safety spots.

San Diego Chargers:

WR- They do have Keenan Allen, and just added Travis Benjamin, but adding some more weapons for Phillip Rivers would be huge.

TE- They lost Ladarius Green in free agency, but kept Antonio Gates, but it’s still a huge need to me.

OG- They do have Orlando Franklin at LG, but they could use someone to challenge Chris Watt at RG.

3-4 DE- Besides Corey Liuget, the Chargers could use another solid 3-4 End.

3-4 NT- They have Sean Lissemore, but they could use an upgrade in my opinion.

3-4 OLB- Melvin Ingram is there, as is last years 2nd-round pick, Jeremiah Attaochu, but they could use some quality depth at OLB.

ILB- They released Donald Butler, and have Denzel Perryman, and Manti Te’o, but I can still see the, adding one in the late rounds for depth.

CB- The Chargers have Jason Verrett, and Brandon Flowers, but adding a young, shutdown CB would be a huge get for them.

S- They lost Eric Weddle in free agency, so replacing him is a must.

NFC East:

Dallas Cowboys

QB- While not an immediate need, the Cowboys need to think about the future, as Tony Romo won’t be there forever, so getting a QB would be huge to develop.

RB- With no real long term answer at RB on the current roster, this is one of their top needs.

WR- Dez Bryant is signed long term, and Terrance Williams looks good, but they could use some more dynamic weapons for Romo.

OG- They could someone to challenge Ronald Leary at LG.

4-3 DE- with the status of Greg Hardy unknown, the Cowboys could use some help at DE.

4-3 DT- With only Tyrone Crawford signed long term, the Cowboys could look to add a DT early on.

4-3 OLB- The Cowboys don’t have anyone really locked in at OLB for the future.

CB- They did retain Morris Claiborne, draft Byron Jones in 2015, and have Orlando Scandrick, but they could still use more help at CB.

S- The Cowboys could use upgrades at both safety spots.

New York Giants:

RB- They have some good backs in Andre Williams, and Shane Vereen, but they still need more depth.

WR- Odell Beckham Jr. is a stud, but the status of Reuben Randle is unknown, and you don’t know if you can count on Victor Cruz being healthy a full season, so this is a big need.

TE- Larry Donell is a RFA, and while he probably returns, they need to find someone else to help.

OG- They released Geoff Schwartz, so adding someone at OG is a must.

OT- With William Beatty being released, expect them to add a Tackle somewhere in the draft.

4-3 DE- The Giants did add Olivier Vernon, and retain Jason Pierre-Paul, but Pierre-Paul was a 1-year deal, so they could look to add someone for the future.

4-3 OLB- The Giants need to add someone at OLB to compete with the likes of Deveon Kennard, JT Thomas, and Jonathan Cassilas.

ILB- Neither Mark Herzlich, nor Jasper Brinkley are the future, so adding one early is possible.

CB- The Giants did lose Prince Amukamara, and add Janoris Jenkins, but they still could use another quality CB.

S- They could use someone to go opposite Landon Collins, their 2nd-round pick from 2015.

Philadelphia Eagles:

RB- They dealt away DeMarco Murray, and could do the same with Ryan Mathews, so adding some help at RB would be a plus.

WR- They released Riley Cooper, and have Jordan Matthews, and Nelson Aghlor, but I expect them to add another dynamic weapon for Sam Bradford.

OG- They could use someone to challenge at LG or RG, depended on where new Eagle Brandon Brooks plays.

ILB- They cut DeMeco Ryans, and traded away Kiko Alonso, so this is an obvious need area.

CB- The Eagles dealt away the disappointing free agent signee Byron Maxwell, and while they have Eric Rowe, and Nolan Carroll, and signed Leodis McKelvon, they need a true #1 CB.

S- Rodney McLeod joined the Eagles in free agency, and they have Malcolm Jenkins at the other safety spot, but getting quality backups and depth is key.

Washington Redskins:

QB- Kirk Cousins is signed for 2016 under his franchise tender, but they need to add a #2 QB after releasing Robert Griffin III.

RB- With Alfred Morris not expected back, and while they have Matt Jones as their new feature back, they need to add some solid depth behind him.

WR- Besides Jamison Crowder they don’t have any long term answers, as Pierre Garcon hasn’t lived up to his contract, and DeSean Jackson is inconsistent at times, so adding a WR is a must.

TE- The Redskins need to figure out who their #1 TE is, and they could opt to add one on the draft.

OG- The Redskins have Shawn Lauvao at LG, but could use an upgrade at RG.

3-4 NT- The Redskins could use a NT with Terrance Knighton signing elsewhere.

3-4 OLB- They have Ryan Kerrigan at one OLB spot, but they could use an upgrade at the other spot.

ILB- While they have Perry Riley, and kept Mason Foster on a cheap 1-year deal, it doesn’t hurt to look to the future.

CB- The Redskins have Chris Culliver, and DeAngelo Hall at CB, but could use some serious youth, and depth.

S- Dashon Goldson was let go, and there is no one else signed long term, so adding a safety or two would be huge.

NFC North:

Chicago Bears:

QB- The Bears need to find someone to be their #2 QB, who could also be groomed to take over for Jay Cutler.

RB- They didn’t re-sign Matt Forte, and they do have Ka’Deem Carey, and Jeremy Langford, but need to add a 3rd RB.

WR- They kept Alshon Jeffrey on a his 1-year franchise tag, and have Kevin White, along with Eddie Royal, but they should still look to add someone else at WR.

TE- The Bears traded Martellius Bennett away, so this is a need.

OT- They cut Jermon Bushrod, so they need to find a new LT.

3-4 DE- They retained Mitche Unrein on a 2-year deal, and added Akiem Hicks, who could play DE, but finding a stud DE would be huge.

CB- They have Kyle Fuller, and Tracy Porter, but could use a solid #3 CB, and more depth.

S- The Bears need to add players for the future at Safety, as Antrell Rolle isn’t the future, and guys like Ryan Mundy, and Sherrod Martin aren’t starters.

Detroit Lions:

RB- The Lions released Joique Bell, so they could use another back to g with Ameer Abdullah, and Theo Riddick.

WR- While they did add Marvin Jones, and have Golden Tate, they still should look at add another weapon for Matt Stafford.

TE- They have former 1st-round picks, Brandon Pettigrew, and Eric Ebron, but could use some depth at TE.

4-3 DE- They have solid starters in Ezekiel Ansah, and Jason Jones, but could use depth to go with Tyrunn Walker.

4-3 DT- Haloti Ngata is penciled in at one DT spot, while Caraun Reid is likely viewed at the the other DT right now, but they could use someone to challenge Reid for the starting spot next to Ngata.

CB- The Lions need serious help a CB, Darius Slay, Quandre Diggs, and Nevin Lawson are good young players with potential, but they need a true shutdown #1 CB.

S- Besides Glover Quinn, they could use another solid safety.

Green Bay Packers:

RB- Eddie Lacy isn’t guaranteed anything in Green Bay, and with James Starks’s future unknown, adding another back is a must.

WR- They could use someone else to go with Randall Cobb, Jordy Nelson, and Davante Adams.

TE- Besides Richard Rodgers, and Andrew Quarless, the Packers could look for more TE depth.

OG- Josh Sitton is entering his final year under contract, so finding a potential replacement is a possibility.

3-4 DE- The Packers have Mike Daniels, and former 1st-rounder Datone Jones, but need more depth.

3-4 NT- With BJ Raji expected to take the year off, they need to find someone to fill in for him.

ILB- With Clay Matthews expected back at OLB, the Packers need to find someone to team with Jake Ryan.

CB- They lost Casey Hayward in free agency, but have Micah Hyde, and last years 1st-rounder Damarious Randall, they still could use some help at CB, depth wise.

Minnesota Vikings:

RB- The Vikings could look to add another back to go with Adrian Peterson, Jerick McKinnon, and Matt Asiata.

WR- The Vikes released Mike Wallace, they also don’t seem to be confident in former 1st-rounder Cordarrelle Patterson, and Charles Johnson can’t stay healthy, so expect them to add someone early on.

OT- They signed Phil Loadholt to a big extension, but he seems more injury prone, so I can see them adding someone to possibly groom at RT.

4-3 OLB- With Chad Greenway’s future unknown, look for the Vikes to add someone to potentially take over for Greenway.

S- Harrison Smith, and Andrew Sendejo are penciled in as starters, but they could use some solid depth.

NFC South:

Atlanta Falcons:

RB- They are solid at RB with Devontae Freeman, and Tevin Coleman, but they could still use another back.

WR- Roddy White was let go, and they did add Mohamed Sanu, but they still need to add a WR to go with Sanu, Justin Hardy, and their top guy, Julio Jones.

TE- Outside of Levine Toilolo, and Jacob Tamme, they don’t have a real weapon at TE.

OT- The Falcons need another OT badly, with Jake Matthews either playing Left or Right Tackle, with the other spot open.

4-3 OLB- With Justin Durant being released, and O’Brien Schofield’s future unknown, expect the Falcons to add some help at OLB.

ILB- Even thought hey retained Sean Weatherspoon on a 1-year deal, expect them to add a ILB to groom for the future.

CB- They have Desmond Trufant, and Robert Alford, plus they like Jalen Collins, but they could use some more depth at CB.

S- The Falcons let William Moore go, and have no viable options to replace him long term, so Safety is a need.

Carolina Panthers:

WR- They should get back Kelvin Benjamin after he tore his ACL last offseason, and they still have Devin Funchess, and the likes of Jericho Cotchery, and Ted Ginn, but adding another young WR would be a solid move.

TE- Greg Olsen is arguably the best all around TE in the NFL, but they need to get someone behind him, as Ed Dickson isn’t the answer long term.

OG- With Amini Silatolu likely leaving in free agency, expect the Panthers to add a new LG in the draft.

OT- Michael Oher isn’t the long term answer at LT, so they need to find one.

4-3 DE- They have Frank Alexander, and Kony Ealy, plus they brought back Charles Johnson on a cheap 1-year deal, but they could use someone for the future at DE.

4-3 DT- Dwan Edwards was cut, and they do have Star Lotulelei, and Kawann Short, but could use depth at DT.

4-3 OLB- They have a star in Thomas Davis, and former 1st-rounder Shaq Thompson, but adding some depth would be a good move.

CB- Josh Norman is expected to be back, whether long term, or on his franchise tag, but even so, they need to add someone else at CB, as Charles Tillman, and Cortland Finnegan aren’t answers long term.

S- The Panthers need help at Safety, as Roman Harper is a free agent, and the likes of Colin Jones, Tre Boston, and Dean Marlowe are unproven.

New Orleans Saints:

WR- The Saints cut Marques Colston, and while they have Brandon Coleman, and Willie Snead as up and comers, along with Brandin Cooks, they need someone else to be their #2 WR.

TE- While they added Coby Fleener in free agency, I still think they need depth at TE.

OG- The Saints need help at OG, as they let cut RG Jahri Evans.

4-3 DE- Besides Cameron Jordan, the Saints don’t have another top tier 3-4 DE.

4-3 DT- The Saints could use serious help at the DT spot.

4-3 OLB- David Hawthorne was let go, and with no one signed long term, look for them to add a long term starter in the draft.

CB- The Saints released Brandon Browner, but have Keenan Lewis, and youngsters like PJ Williams, and Damian Swann, but need to add a #2 CB.

S- They have Kenny Vaccaro, and Jairus Byrd at safety, but could use some depth.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers:

RB- They re-signed Dough Martin, and have Charles Sims, but they could use a solid 3rd back.

WR- While they have Mike Evans, and Vincent Jackson at WR, they need to add a 3rd WR, plus Jackson is expensive, and not getting any younger.

OG- We don’t know who will play LG, as they added J.R. Sweezy in free agency, and drafted Ali Marpet last year, so I expect them to add someone to challenge for a starting spot opposite Sweezy, whether at LG or RG.

OT- With no real LT on the roster, I can see the Bucs adding one early.

4-3 DE- While they have good young players like Jacquies Smith, and William Gholston, they could still use some help at DE.

4-3 OLB- The Bucs released Bruce Carter, so look for them to add a OLB in the draft at some point.

ILB- The Bucs don’t have a legit ILB of the future, so I expect them to add one.

CB- Alterraun Verner has been a bust signing, and only Johanthan Banks looks like a long term starter, so they should look at add a CB to shore up the defensive backfield.

S- The Bucs don’t have two solid safeties, so look for them to add at least one.

NFC West:

Arizona Cardinals:

QB- Carson Palmer is a good QB, but they need to find the QB of the future.

WR- They have Larry Fitzgerald, Michael Floyd, and a youngster in JJ Nelson, but they need to look toward as Fitzgerald won’t be there forever.

OG- They added Mike Iupati last year, and just dealt Jonathan Cooper away, so this is a need.

3-4 DE- with Calais Campbell signed for only 2016, look for them to add a 3-4 End.

ILB- With just Daryl Washington at ILB, they need to add someone to go alongside him.

CB- The Cards have Patrick Peterson, Justin Bethel, and Jerraud Powers at CB, but could use some additional help.

S- They have Tyrann Mathieu, and Deone Bucannon at Safety, but Mathieu is coming off a nasty leg injury, so they could use some depth.

Los Angeles Rams:

QB- The Rams need to find their franchise QB after the Sam Bradford experiment didn’t work out, and Nick Foles did sign a 2-year deal, but isn’t the answer, so I expect them to take one in the draft.

WR- The Rams have solid WRs in Brian Quick, Stedman Bailey, and Kenny Britt, but I’m not sure where Tavon Austin fits in, but they can still use a WR.

TE- The Rams cut Jared Cook, so look for them to add one.

OG- The Rams need to find a LG, as they have a solid RG in Rodger Saffold, but no one at LG.

4-3 DE- The Rams released longtime DE Chris Long, and have Robert Quinn, Eugene Sims, and William Hayes there, so it’s not a big need, but still a need for depth.

4-3 DT- With Nick Fairley’s future unknown, along with studs in Aaron Donald, and Michael Brockers, it’s not a huge need, but a need for depth.

4-3 OLB- Only Akeem Ayers is slotted in at one OLB spot, so getting another one is a must.

ILB- They cut James Laurinaitis, and while they have Alec Ogletree, I still see this as a need, as Ogletree could easily move to OLB.

CB- They have Trumaine Johnson back on his franchise tag, but lost Janoris Jenkins in free agency, so look for them to add a #2 CB.

S- Mark Barron was retained in free agency, and T.J. McDonald is a starter also, so they don’t need immediate help, just depth.

San Francisco 49ers:

QB- With Colin Kaepernick’s future uncertain, and Blaine Gabbert not the franchise guy, they must find someone who might be that guy.

WR- The 49ers have Torrey Smith, and then a bunch of unproven guys, so getting a #2 WR is a must.

OG- The 49ers lot Alex Boone in free agency, and haven’t replaced him yet, plus the RG spot isn’t set, so adding a guard or two would be helpful.

OT- This is a need only if Anthony Davis doesn’t return from his short retirement.

3-4 DE- Even with Quinton Dial extended, and last years 1st-rounder Arik Armstead slotted in, they still need a solid 3rd DE.

3-4 NT- Ian Williams is back long term, but finding a solid backup would be helpful.

3-4 OLB- Ahmad Brooks won’t last forever, as he hasn’t lived up to his big deal, and Aaron Lynch should be extended when allowed, but getting a stud pass rushing OLB is a must.

ILB – The 49ers need to find someone to go next to NaVorro Bowman.

CB- The 49ers failed to get a CB in free agency, and must find one, possibly as high as 7.

Seattle Seahawks:

QB- They need to find a solid #2 QB to go behind Russell Wilson.

RB- With Marshawn Lynch expected to retire, and Thomas Rawls to likely successor, they still need to find a solid #2 back.

WR- Even with Tyler Lockett, Doug Baldwin, and the returning Jermaine Kearse, I expect them to add one in the draft.

C- They need to find a replacement for Max Unger who was traded last year for Jimmy Graham.

OG- The Seahawks need to find a replacement for J.R. Sweezy who left in free agency.

OT- With Russell Okung signing elsewhere in free agency, expect the Seahawks to add a Tackle in this year’s draft.

4-3 OLB- The Seahawks need to find a replacement for Bruce Irvin who left in free agency.

CB- They have Richard Sherman, and Jeremy Lane signed long term, but adding another CB would be huge.
