Rank Player Position College Height Weight 40 Time Analysis:
1 Luke Joeckel OT Texas A&M 6’6 306 5.29 The top rated OT, and looks to be a lock as a safe pick. Good in run and pass block, plus held up against great competition
2 Sharrif Floyd 4-3 DT/3-4 DE Florida 6’2 297 4.92 Riser, seems to be a god pass rusher, with tackling skills, looks more of a 4-3 DT or 3-4 End at the next level
3 Star Lotulelei 3-4 NT/4-3 DT Utah 6’2 311 5.15 Has medical issues with his minor heart issues, but he is an all around top notch talent, plus he is a tackling machine and run stuffer

5 Eric Fisher OT Central Michigan 6’7 306 5.06 The 2nd best OT in the draft, allthough he went against lesser competition, he still dominated, thus helping his cause for a top 5 pick
6 Chance Warmack OG Alabama 6’2 317 5.49 Warmack is a mauler, he is a beast, and is great in run and pass block
7 Jonathan Cooper OG North Carolina 6’2 311 5.07 Cooper isn’t far behind Warmack. He is also a big mauler, with great abilities in run and pass blocking
8 Lane Johnson OT Oklahoma 6’6 303 4.72 Johnson is my 3rd best OT, and could go as high as 7 to Arizona, and he is worth the pick, good blocker
9 Geno Smith QB West Virginia 6’2 218 4.59 Smith is rated higher than most, I love his accuracy, and arm strength, plus he is a mobile QB
10 Dion Jordan 3-4 OLB Oregon 6’6 248 4.6 Jordan is a high riser, who seems to be a pure pass rusher, either a 4-3 DE or a more natural 3-4 OLB
11 Ziggy Ansah 4-3 DE/3-4 OLB BYU 6’5 271 4.63 Ansah really saw his stock rise during the draft season. He is a goodpass rusher, who I believe is a perfect fit for a 4-3 end
12 Xavier Rhodes CB Florida State 6’1 210 4.41 Rhodes has shown up high on a lot of mock drafts, and he is a skilled cover cornerback, with ball hawk skills
13 Tavon Austin WR West Virginia 5’8 174 4.34 Austin may be a smaller WR, but that didn’t hurt Percy Harvin from being a 1st round pick. Austin is quick, and a good natural pass catcher, plus return option if need be
14 Jordan Poyer CB Oregon State 5’11 191 4.53 I love Poyer, 7 INTs says it all, he is a ball hawk, with cover skills, and mostly a shutdown corner

16 Jarvis Jones 4-3 OLB Georgia 6’2 245 4.85 Jones fell down most draft boards, but I still feel he is one of the best 3 pass rushers in this class, don’t let the 40 time fool you, he is quick
17 Barkevious Mingo 3-4 OLB LSU 6’4 241 4.58 Known as Kikky, Mingo is a pure pass rusher, who gets to the ball carrier easy

20 Sheldon Richardson 4-3 DT/3-4 DE Missouri 6’2 294 4.88 He is just a tackling machine at Missouri, and can get to the ball and QB easily
21 Alec Ogletree ILB Georgia 6’2 242 4.69 Ogletree may have off the field and on the field issues, between arrests and injuries, but he is still my best ILB, and has a shot at being a great one if he can stay clean. Good tackler, with good coverage abilities
22 D.J. Fluker OT Alabama 6’4 329 5.31 Fluker is more of a natural RT, so I expect a RT needy team to grab him up. And if doing so, they will have a great RT for many years. Good all around blocker
23 Tyler Eifert TE Notre Dame 6’5 250 4.68 Eifert gets a slight notch over Ertz. I like Eifert’s big plays, and solid catching. Always comes down with the tough ones
24 Jesse Williams 3-4 DE/4-3 DT Alabama 6’3 323 5 I love Williams, natural fit in either a 3-4 NT or 4-3 DT, and can play End in a 3-4. Can be a good tackler, and sack machine
25 Zach Ertz TE Stanford 6’5 249 4.76 Ertz was a sleeper at TE, but now is among the top 25 players in this draft to me. And should be helped by his good catching and smart play
26 Kawann Short 3-4 DE/4-3 DT Purdue 6’2 299 5.05 Short is a versatile DL, who is a tackling machine, and gets to the QB easily
27 Datone Jones 3-4 DE/4-3 DT UCLA 6’3 283 4.81 High riser, Jones is a natural fit as a 3-4 end, and would be so with good pass rushing skills
28 Keenan Allen WR California 6’2 206 4.7 Allen didn’t work out at the combine, but had a good pro day and should be one of the top 5 WRs taken. He is a natural pass catching WR, with big plays waiting to happen
29 DeAndre Hopkins WR Clemson 6’1 214 4.53 Hopkins has risen, and risen after declaring for the draft. He is raw, but is a fast WR, with big play ability written all over him
30 Justin Hunter WR Tennessee 6’4 196 4.44 Hunter was a play maker at Tennessee, always making he big catches, and now he has a shot at being a top pick in the draft
31 Manti Te’o ILB Notre Dame 6’1 241 4.71 Te’o had a sub-par combine, but had a good workout at his pro day, but still have questions of whether he is a 3 down linebacker, but he is a tackling machine for sure
32 Jonathan Cyprien S Florida International 6’0 217 4.58 Cyprien will be a FS at the next level most likely, and he shined at the senior bowl, and has seen his stock rise ever since. Good tackler, and in coverage he is decent
33 Johnthan Banks CB Mississippi State 6’2 185 4.61 Some are down on Banks, and I am not sure why. He is still a good cover corner with the ability to be a top notch CB in the NFL
34 Tank Carradine 4-3 DE/3-4 OLB Florida State 6’4 276 4.65 I am concerned with his injury situation, if he runs well, he will move up my board for sure
35 Desmond Trufant CB Washington 5’11 190 4.43 Trufant has some bloodlines, with brothers Marcus and Isiah being in the NFL, so he has some hype to live up to, and Trufant is a good CB, good tackler, and cover guy for sure
36 E.J. Manuel QB Florida State 6’4 237 4.62 Manuel had a tremenous senior bowl, and s a my second best QB, with nice pocker awareness, and arm strength
37 Matt Elam S Florida 5’9 208 4.47 Elam looks to be a SS more so than a FS, but I could see a team needing a FS nabbing Elam, and plugging this good tackler in at FS
38 Johnathan Hankins 3-4 NT/4-3 DT Ohio State 6’2 320 5.31 Hankins is a pure a NT, who is a run stuffer, and gets to the ball carrier when needed
39 Eddie Lacy RB Alabama 5’11 231 4.55 Lacy has risen as the best back in this draft after a great national championship showing against Notre Dame. Good runner, with good vision

41 Eric Reid S LSU 6’1 213 4.51 Reid is a FS at the next level, and should see him as an early 2, since he is a good tackler, and decent in coverage
42 Logan Ryan CB Rutgers 5’11 191 4.54 One of the big east’s best CBs in 2012, Ryan should fill any void as a nickel or dime DB. Good cover skills
43 Jamar Taylor CB Boise State 5’10 192 4.39 Taylor is a good tackler, good cover guy, and all around shut down CB, even at smaller level than guys like Banks, and Ryan, he is still a good CB
44 D.J. Hayden CB Houston 5’11 191 4.45 Hayden has had issues with near death, but has come back to shine. And he should shine as a good cover and ball hawk CB
45 Alex Okafor 4-3 DE/3-4 OLB Texas 6’4 264 4.85 Okafor is a pure pass rusher, either a end in the 4-3 or OLB in 3-4, either way this tackling machine, and good at getting to the ball won’t be on the board for long
46 Arthur Brown 4-3 OLB Kansas State 6’0 241 4.66 Brown is suited for the 4-3 OLB, or ILB/MLB. Brown is a good tackler, and good instincts
47 Kevin Minter ILB LSU 5’11 245 4.81 My 3rd best ILB, and not by much, knows how to tackle, and is a good cover ILB. Expect his name sometime in the last 1st, to early 2nd
48 Menelik Watson OT Florida State 6’5 310 5.29 Watson is a late climber, but he is a good blocker in pass and run, so he should be an early 2nd rd pick

50 Margus Hunt 3-4 DE/4-3 DT SMU 6’8 277 4.61 Hunt has good pass rushing skills, but has 1 bad thing, he is 28, and teams may shy away from drafting the Brandon Weeden of Defensive side, even thouugh Hunt has more upside it seems than Weeden does
51 Sylvester Williams 3-4 NT/4-3 DT North Carolina 6’2 313 5.03 Sly Williams, as he is called, is a good dominant NT and good DE/DT, but is he Kentwan Balmer, or is his ceiling higher? Either way we know Sly is a good run stuffer, and a good end rusher.

54 Damontre Moore 4-3 DE/3-4 OLB Texas A&M 6’4 250 4.96 Moore had a bad combine, and didn’t seem to recover, but he is a still a good pass rusher, and either an end in 4-3 or OLB in 3-4
55 Darius Slay CB Mississippi State 5’11 192 4.34 Slay is a speedy CB, good cover skills, and as good as Banks at times. I have him lower than some, but he may surprise and go higher

65 Ryan Nassib QB Syracuse 6’2 227 5.02 Nassib could surprise and be taken way earlier than this spot, but he has good arm strength, and accuracy, so I can see him as high as 31 in a trade up

Last Big Board, Top 254 (April 18, 2013)

4 Dee Milliner CB Alabama 5’11 201 4.38 The top CB in the draft, he is a ball hawk, and a great cover corner
15 Kenny Vaccaro S Texas 6’0 214 4.62 Vaccaro is a riser, who is a natural FS, with big hit ability
18 Jesse Williams 3-4 DE/4-3 DT Alabama 6’3 323 5 I love Williams, natural fit in either a 3-4 NT or 4-3 DT, and can play End in a 3-4. Can be a good tackler, and sack machine
19 Cordarrelle Patterson WR Tennessee 6’1 216 4.42 Patterson has raw talent. Fast WR, good pass catcher, and makes big plays
24 Zach Ertz TE Stanford 6’5 249 4.76 Ertz was a sleeper at TE, but now is among the top 25 players in this draft to me. And should be helped by his good catching and smart play
25 Kawann Short 3-4 DE/4-3 DT Purdue 6’2 299 5.05 Short is a versatile DL, who is a tackling machine, and gets to the QB easily
26 Datone Jones 3-4 DE/4-3 DT UCLA 6’3 283 4.81 High riser, Jones is a natural fit as a 3-4 end, and would be so with good pass rushing skills
27 Keenan Allen WR California 6’2 206 4.7 Allen didn’t work out at the combine, but had a good pro day and should be one of the top 5 WRs taken. He is a natural pass catching WR, with big plays waiting to happen
28 Bjoern Werner 4-3 DE/3-4 OLB Florida State 6’3 266 4.83 Werner is my 2nd best 4-3 DE, and he is a good pass rusher, and tackling machine
32 Kevin Minter ILB LSU 5’11 245 4.81 My 3rd best ILB, and not by much, knows how to tackle, and is a good cover ILB. Expect his name sometime in the last 1st, to early 2nd
33 Jonathan Cyprien S Florida International 6’0 217 4.58 Cyprien will be a FS at the next level most likely, and he shined at the senior bowl, and has seen his stock rise ever since. Good tackler, and in coverage he is decent
34 Johnthan Banks CB Mississippi State 6’2 185 4.61 Some are down on Banks, and I am not sure why. He is still a good cover corner with the ability to be a top notch CB in the NFL
40 Eric Reid S LSU 6’1 213 4.51 Reid is a FS at the next level, and should see him as an early 2, since he is a good tackler, and decent in coverage
41 Logan Ryan CB Rutgers 5’11 191 4.54 One of the big east’s best CBs in 2012, Ryan should fill any void as a nickel or dime DB. Good cover skills
42 Jamar Taylor CB Boise State 5’10 192 4.39 Taylor is a good tackler, good cover guy, and all around shut down CB, even at smaller level than guys like Banks, and Ryan, he is still a good CB
43 Darius Slay CB Mississippi State 5’11 192 4.34 Slay is a speedy CB, good cover skills, and as good as Banks at times. I have him lower than some, but he may surprise and go higher
44 D.J. Hayden CB Houston 5’11 191 4.45 Hayden has had issues with near death, but has come back to shine. And he should shine as a good cover and ball hawk CB
45 Jamie Collins 3-4 OLB Southern Miss. 6’3 250 4.64 Collins has shown a lot, good vision as a OLB, and he is a good pass rusher, expect early 2nd to mid 2nd rounder for him
46 Alex Okafor 4-3 DE/3-4 OLB Texas 6’4 264 4.85 Okafor is a pure pass rusher, either a end in the 4-3 or OLB in 3-4, either way this tackling machine, and good at getting to the ball won’t be on the board for long
47 Tank Carradine 4-3 DE/3-4 OLB Florida State 6’4 276 4.65 I am concerned with his injury situation, if he runs well, he will move up my board for sure
48 Menelik Watson OT Florida State 6’5 310 5.29 Watson is a late climber, but he is a good blocker in pass and run, so he should be an early 2nd rd pick
49 Terron Armstead OT Arkansas Pine Bluff 6’4 306 4.71 Armstead is a small school prospect with tons of upside, and expect good things from him. Good blocker in all phases
52 Giovani Bernard RB North Carolina 5’8 202 4.53 Bernard is my 2nd best RB, has good speed, good vision, and toughness for a smaller RB
53 Sam Montgomery 4-3 DE/3-4 OLB LSU 6’3 262 4.81 Takes off too many plays, I like his verstaile play, but he scares me with the taking plays off. I would be cautious with taking him
54 Damontre Moore 4-3 DE/3-4 OLB Texas A&M 6’4 250 4.96 Moore had a bad combine, and didn’t seem to recover, but he is a still a good pass rusher, and either an end in 4-3 or OLB in 3-4
55 Brian Winters OG Kent State 6’3 320 5.1 Winters is a good OG, good at blocking, but is his play at Kent State a virtue of playing lower teams or is he really that good?
56 Larry Warford OG Kentucky 6’2 332 5.58 Warford is a good OG with blocking skills, he has risen, and I see him in the 2nd round when this is all said and done
57 Justin Pugh OG Syracuse 6’4 307 5.15 Pugh seemed like a natural OT, but at the senior bowl, it showed he is more suited for an OG spot, struggles at times, but is a good blocker
58 Quinton Patton WR La Tech 6’0 204 4.53 Patton is one of my favorite WRs in the draft, speedy, gets open easy, and good play maker
